Evelyn's POV

Is this jealousy? This is so interesting.

"I..I am so.. so sorry sir and ma'am ". The panicking man apologised.

Alice quickly stepped forward to apologise on behalf of Joseph.

"I am sorry Mr and Mrs Wright. Please, forgive his manners. He is new here and does not know our rules yet. I will teach him well"

Alex dragged me away before they could reply to me. As he led me inside the two-storey mansion.

"What was that for? He was only trying to greet us". I defended

"By touching you?". He turned back asking me as he glared at me.

I stood still, crossing my arms over my chest, and I raised my brow.

"What do you mean by him touching me?". I asked. "Is there something else you have against him?"
