The sound of a woman's scream could be clearly heard as the church bells rang out to signal the start of the morning.

Soon a woman was seen being dragged away by two men, both of her legs had been broken so that she could not escape.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh."

The woman's voice of pain sounded heart-wrenching, breaking the silence of the morning.

The young woman was dragged by force then tied to a pole. Her screams were heard all the way to the end of the village, and curious people began to emerge one by one after hearing her screams.

"Everyone has decided." A man's voice shouted loudly cutting off the screams of the woman whose clothes had been torn here and there, "you have allied yourself with the devil."

"Let go of me!" The woman shouted, the look in her eyes not implying the slightest fear.

Ignoring the woman's words, the man dressed as a priest who had been ringing the bell came forward and shouted in her ear. "And, have given birth to their offspring! So I must say what the punishment is for you, Marie Blaise!"

"To hell with all of you! I will never do your bidding and don't give a damn about that bullshit of yours!" Marie Blaise shouted back in response.

Marie's bold reaction made the few people who were already on the field exchange glances with each other.

A man in a black robe and hat walked up to Marie and said, "Last chance for you, Marie Blaise. Confess your sins as the last witch here who has given birth to children descended from demons, and I will ease your pain by beheading you before you are burned!"

Marie flinched, her eyes staring hatefully at the people in front of her. Then with one swift movement she spat at the robed man.

Everyone who saw the scene whispered to each other -- shocked by the courage shown by Marie.

Not accepting Marie's treatment, the man in the black hat came forward and pulled Marie's hair until her head popped up.

Marie winced at the pain on her scalp. Without any pity, the man grabbed Marie's hair more forcefully so that several strands of her hair were pulled out by the roots.

With a haughty look, he said, "Remember, Blaise, you have a daughter. Think of her, because I will find and slaughter that little girl." With great pressure, the man continued his words, "will you please our king by confessing all your sins as a follower of the devil!"

"Shameless!" The shabbily dressed woman shouted back. "Disgusting!" Marie spat again at the man who was clearly older than Marie.

The man continued to hurt Marie who was not afraid to fight back even though her body, hands, and feet were bound tightly and strongly.

Meanwhile, in the forest, a young woman was seen running in fear. Her left hand was holding a girl who was approximately ten years old.

Several times her head turned back -- to see if anyone else was following them from behind.

The woman took the little girl running as fast as she could into the forest, and stopped at a spot not far from where Marie was.

"The time has come, they have come. The ones I told you about," said the young woman with a gasp.

"The bad guys?" asked the child questioningly.

"Yes, they are."

The little girl's face looked very calm. She even looked down for a moment as the young woman in front of her pinned something around her neck.

"Wear this necklace, so that God will take care of you. Never let go no matter what."

The little girl nodded and went off alone, leaving the young woman who had been with her.

He ran with the maximum speed he had until he finally made it out of the forest.

Her eyes caught a field filled with grass that was taller than her body.

She slowly made her way through the meadow until her beautiful bead caught a sight she should not have seen.

'They...,' she whispered under her breath.

Meanwhile, in the field where Marie was tied up with a bold look, Marie said that she would never say where her daughter was.

The man in the hat spoke again, "Don't ever say that I'm unfair." Then, with a code, he had two burly men drag Marie back.

Ignoring Marie's screams, the two men dragged her to a pole with a pile of firewood underneath.

They tied Marie's hands together and lit the pile of wood. Marie looked angrily at the burning wood.

"I will definitely find your daughter, Blaise, though it will be the last thing I do. I will follow you all the way to hell. I will wipe your filthy descendants off the face of this earth," said the man in black robes.

At the punishment post, with hatred, Marie scanned the black bead of the man in front of her, then said in a tone that was very firm and without the slightest fear even though the gurgling of the wood licked by the red rooster sounded louder and louder and was capable of breaking the courage of anyone who heard it.

"I curse you, Simon Oberon. As long as Blaise's blood still runs on this earth, your soul is cursed and will be forever damned." Marie let out a fiery curse, "You will live in hell, but not in death nor in this life. That's your curse, Simon!" Marie screamed at the top of her lungs, venting all the anger, hatred, and resentment inside her.

Marie's eyes, which were reddened and slightly glazed with anger and smoke, seemed to flash strangely, and many people who looked at them shuddered in horror.

Meanwhile, behind the weeds, a young girl continued to record in her memory all the events she saw while her necklace emitted a bluish light every time Marie uttered a curse for Simon.

The girl ran away at the sound of the last scream before the towering flames burned Marie alive.

The mist grew thicker as Elara and Grace entered the old town of Silverthorne. Around them, ancient buildings made of massive stone looked as if they had witnessed thousands of years of history. Trees clung to their walls, gripping them like hands forgotten by time. The atmosphere felt cold and tense, while the mountain breeze rustled gently, carrying faint sounds from the past."This town...," Elara murmured in a trembling voice. "Why does it feel so lonely and full of sadness?"Grace turned her head, her gaze serious. "This is no ordinary place, Elara. Silverthorne was once the Blaise family's power centre. Many have fallen here-friends and foes alike. We walk upon an old battlefield, and the power that remains here has not been fully extinguished."Their footsteps were heavy. Elara could feel the strange energy of the ground beneath her feet, as if something was watching them, waiting. In the distance, lightning flashed across the sky, followed by a rumble that broke the silence.

After saying thank you and goodbye, Raven stepped into the dormitory leaving behind Grace who drove away in her favourite car."Goodbye Elara." And bring her home-either alive... or fully exposed."The Night Watcher climbed out completely. His body was tall, yet not fixed in shape. He merged with the shadows, and as he stepped, the floor beneath him turned frozen, cracked, and dead.Without the sound of a step, without a gesture, the creature disappeared-merging with the darkness beyond the world, moving swiftly like a nightmare that slips between the beats of time. And the last whisper before it vanished was a bone-chilling sound"I see you, Elara... But Raven knew she heard it, too.Suddenly, around the corner of the hallway, there was a low growl. Valtorius halted his steps, his hand raised, ready to cast magic. From behind a thin mist, a creature emerged-its height almost touching the ceiling, its body shrouded in a pitch-black mist that flowed like smoke. Its eyes glowed blood red."Guardian of the Eastern Gate," Valtorius hissed. "We must pass through. But not with brute force."The creature stepped forward, and its heavy voice echoed"Give me a name. A true name. Or stay here... forever."Raven stared at Valtorius, terrified. The black-robed figure laughed softly. "Of course you know me. I am the part of life that you forgot. I am the truth they tried to hide from you."Suddenly, the room shook violently again. From outside, there was a loud bang followed by a heartbreaking scream that echoed throughout the building. Something-or someone-was charging in, bringing even greater horror than before. The shattered door was now wide open, revealing a hallway filled with a dark mist that crawled across the floor like a living creature. In that mist, shadows flashed rapidly, creating whispers that sliced through the air.Valtorius quickly grasped Raven's wrist. "We need to get out of here. Right now."But before they could move, the black-robed figure raised one hand, creating a swirl of shadows that shot towards them.
