The mist grew thicker as Elara and Grace entered the old town of Silverthorne. Around them, ancient buildings made of massive stone looked as if they had witnessed thousands of years of history.
Trees clung to their walls, gripping them like hands forgotten by time.
The atmosphere felt cold and tense, while the mountain breeze rustled gently, carrying faint sounds from the past.
"This town...," Elara murmured in a trembling voice. "Why does it feel so lonely and full of sadness?"
Grace turned her head, her gaze serious. "This is no ordinary place, Elara. Silverthorne was once the Blaise family's power centre. Many have fallen here-friends and foes alike. We walk upon an old battlefield, and the power that remains here has not been fully extinguished."
Their footsteps were heavy. Elara could feel the strange energy of the ground beneath her feet, as if something was watching them, waiting.
In the distance, lightning flashed across the sky, followed by a rumble that broke the silence. However, what made Elara's heart beat faster was the feeling that Simon was not far behind them.
Grace stopped her steps as they reached a large, moss-covered square.
In the centre of the square stood a cracked stone monument. A statue of a woman with a sword drawn to the sky.
It was Willow Blaise, the ancestor of Elara, the legendary witch who had built this city and protected her descendants.
"Elara," Grace said, her voice full of worry. "Here you must face your destiny. Simon will come, and you must be ready. There is no turning back."
Elara clutched her necklace tightly. The blue light from the stone in the necklace grew brighter, but at the same time, the fear that haunted her grew stronger.
She knew that within her was great power. However, could she really control it?
"But how can I fight it? I can't even control my own power. I'm just a ten-year-old who still has a lot to learn," Elara said, her voice full of anxiety.
Grace came closer and looked deeply at Elara. "Your powers are not something you should be afraid of. You are descended from Willow Blaise, the most powerful witch who ever lived. Her blood runs in your veins. But remember, strength without courage is destruction. You must face it with courage."
Before Elara could answer, the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard from the direction of the square. The mist that had been covering the scenery now slowly parted, revealing the figure of Simon Oberon who appeared with burning eyes full of vengeance.
Behind him, Tertius walked silently, even though his body was badly injured from the battle with Wilhelm. Even so, the look in his eyes remained terrifying.
"You think you can run?" Simon's voice echoed among the ruins. "This is the end for Blaise's bloodline. You, Elara, are nothing more than a shadow of your grandmother. Your family's destiny is to die at my hands."
Elara took a step back, feeling the chill of Simon's dark power so strong.
Simon raised his hand, and black energy coiled around him like a storm of darkness.
The ground beneath them trembled, and the surrounding ruins began to slowly crumble.
"Elara!" cried Grace, her eyes full of fear. "You have to fight! It's time!"
Tertius smiled slyly and began to move his hands, summoning shadows from the darkness that was beginning to encompass the square. "You can't hide anymore, little Blaise. We will swallow you alive."
Elara felt her body freeze in place. The thunderous sounds of lightning in the sky, Simon's storm of darkness, and the shadows Tertius cast began to close in on them, making her even more distressed.
However, at that crucial moment, the necklace around her neck shone brighter. The blue light radiated with surprising power, hitting the ground around her and stopping the movement of Tertius' shadow.
"What... what is this?" Simon looked surprised for a moment, but his smile quickly returned. "Good, you finally showed your strength. But, that's not enough, Elara. I have killed Marie Blaise, your mother, and I will finish you the same way."
Simon's words hit Elara like a storm, reminding her of Simon's cruelty towards her family.
In her mind, the image of her mother's death flashed-Marie Blaise who was valiant, but had to lose the fight against Simon. She could not let history repeat itself.
Without fully realising it, Elara's body began to move on its own. Both her hands were raised, and the blue energy from her necklace expanded, forming a shield of light around her. She looked up at Simon, this time with eyes filled with determination.
"I am not my mother," Elara said in a firm voice. "I am more than that."
Tertius, who saw the change in Elara's power, began to attack more aggressively. The shadows he controlled were getting more numerous and stronger.
This time, however, Elara moved her hands confidently. With a single motion, she summoned a huge wind that swept through the shadows, annihilating them one by one.
Simon smiled sarcastically, but the tension on his face was clear. "You think you can defeat me with just that?"
Simon struck the ground with both hands, creating a wave of dark energy that directly hit Elara's shield.
Simon's ambition to finish off all of Blaise's family members made the man willing to do anything even if it was dirty and risking his life in the end.
Attack after attack that Simon and Tertius created made Elara's protective shield finally fall apart.
However, this time, Elara was undaunted. With a single hand gesture, she channelled the blue energy from her necklace into the ground, creating a backwave that hit Simon with tremendous force, sending his body flying backwards.
Grace, who witnessed it all, could only remain silent. "Elara...," she murmured, full of admiration.
But the fight was not over. Simon stood up again, albeit with heavier breathing. "You may have mastered some of your powers, but, this is not over."
Elara, now with courage growing within her, stepped forward. "It's not over yet, Simon. But, this time, I will not run away again. I will fight you to the end."
The roar grew louder around them, the sky above Silverthorne churning, as if welcoming their final battle.
Simon smiled slyly, while Elara prepared, her blue energy coiled around her body, ready to face the darkness that threatened to destroy their world.
The energy from the battle between Elara and Simon grew so intense that the sky above Silverthorne turned a dusky red.The thunderstorm began to flash uncontrollably, and every lightning bolt that hit the ground made the ruins of the city tremble, as if the old city was also feeling the tension that was overflowing between the two.The wind picked up speed and slowly became a tornado ready to sweep away anything in its path. Grace could only stare in dismay, realising that this clash was too strong even for her."Elara!" shouted Grace, trying to reach her niece who was at the centre of the energy vortex. "You must retreat! This city will be destroyed if you keep fighting!"However, Elara no longer heard anything. Her focus was completely centred on Simon, who was now smiling slyly despite the growing number of wounds on his body.Behind his cold face, Elara could feel Simon's fear, a fear that was hidden behind every word he said. They both knew this was a decisive battle."Are you r

I think your mother would have wanted you to wear it from today."Raven looked down, although the memory of her mother had not fully returned, but Raven often heard from her aunt that her mother had left her when she was a child due to an accident. After saying thank you and goodbye, Raven stepped into the dormitory leaving behind Grace who drove away in her favourite car."Goodbye Elara." Grace whispered behind the wheel while looking at Raven who had disappeared behind the dormitory door before finally stepping on the accelerator of her car. Inside the silent dormitory building, Raven looked at the long corridor with many doors standing in a row. It was a new beginning, but her heart felt heavy. Raven wore the blue-eyed necklace that Grace had just given her-it felt so familiar, as if it had a power that she couldn't understand. As she stepped deeper, the lights in the hallway suddenly fl
Raven woke up with a scream stuck in her throat, her chest rising and falling with gasping breaths. The image of the man-with his cold, piercing blue eyes-was still vividly imprinted in her memory. Cold sweat poured down her forehead. Her head felt dizzy at once. Everything felt so real and scary to Raven. "Raven! Are you okay?" Meredith's voice startled her. Raven jumped on the bed, her heart beating even faster because of Meredith. After regaining her composure, Raven turned around to see her roommate standing next to her bed, looking at her with a worried face."I'm sorry, I... I just had a bad dream," Raven tried to smile, though she was still shaken.Meredith sat on the edge of the bed, looking at her with concern. "You just shouted the name 'Simon' in your sleep. Who is he?"Raven just shook her head. "I... I'm not even sure I know who he is," she replied honestly. "But... it feels, like someone is trying to remind me of something important."Raven's forehead furrowed in an a
The night was getting late when Raven finally fell asleep again. However, this time her dream felt more real. She found herself standing in a misty forest, among tall trees that looked like dark shadows in the moonlight. She heard a whispered voice calling her name, "Elara... Elara..." A subtle, but haunting voice, calling from a direction she could not determine. As Raven stepped further into the darkness, a flash of light from the pendant around her neck caught her attention. The blue light glowed faintly, as if radiating a strange power. Amidst panic and the urge to run, Raven kept moving forward, following the whisper.Behind the trees, Raven finally saw the figure of a man with his back facing her. The man's shoulders that stood straight, the grey hair that glistened in the moonlight-Raven knew who he was."Simon," she hissed softly. However, the man remained motionless. "Time for what?" asked Raven, trying to reach him."Time for you to remember who you really are," Simon replied, his eyes blazing with an intensity she'd never seen before. "And, when you're ready, I'll be back to take you home."With those words, Simon's image vanished, and Raven awoke with a heart full of fear, but also curiosity. All the questions that had been haunting her began to press for answers, and she knew that no matter what, Raven could no longer run from the truth of who she was. And, deep in her heart, Raven felt that night was the beginning of a journey into the darkness she had been avoiding. That night, after the anxiety continued to haunt her, Raven decided to take a walk on campus.Raven chose to walk alone even though Meredith offered to accompany her to spend the night. The next morning, Raven woke up with a heavy feeling in her chest. The dreams that had been plaguing her felt more and more real, as if the line between dream and reality was starting to fade. However, that morning she was determined to go about her day as an ordinary college student, without the shadows of the past demanding more and more answers and making her head hurt more and more as she tried to remember everything. After showering and getting dressed, she walked out of her room with slightly hesitant steps. Meredith, her cheerful roommate, was already waiting for her outside shaking a lunchbox in her hand."Good morning, sleepyhead!" greeted Meredith in a cheerful tone. "I even had time to get this for your breakfast before you woke up. I know, you must have overslept again, right?"Raven smiled embarrassedly, then accepted the lunchbox full of toast and fruit. In the days that followed, Raven tried to live her life like a normal student - greeting every activity with enthusiasm and enjoying her time with Meredith and her friends. That morning, Raven and Meredith sat on a bench in the campus park, enjoying the warm morning sun. Both of them were busy eating the chocolate muffins they bought at the cafeteria."I don't understand why professors like to make impromptu quizzes," Meredith grumbled, munching on her muffin. "Look, I didn't even have time to eat breakfast. I'm told to think about it in the morning!"Raven giggled. "That's practice too, Mer. You're still answering anyway, even if it's just the original?"Meredith glared. "Of course! It's a good thing I'm sitting next to you-at least I can follow your confident gaze for answers."The two of them laughed so hard that it attracted the attention of some students sitting nearby. Raven enjoyed little moments like this, away from the hustle and bustle and tension of her strange dreams. No
In the days that followed, Raven and her friends became more and more immersed in Professor Lorry's assignment. They collected various materials for their research project, from interviews to analyses of books that inevitably required them to return to the haunted library.Every day, the atmosphere was full of anticipation. Raven and Meredith were already feeling the nerves building-the day of the project presentation was fast approaching. That morning, Raven and Meredith sat in class, each holding a stack of notes. Lucas and Ben arrived with hurried steps and tense faces. "Hey, I heard Professor Lorry is going to give us a mean grade if we can't answer all the questions," Lucas said as he sat next to Raven. The young man's face looked panicked, it was only natural for Lucas to feel that way since their class was almost all upperclassmen repeating Professor Lorry's course just because they couldn't answer the killer lecturer's questions. Raven bit her lip, unable to hide her worry.
