Simon Oberon stood in front of the cave ruins, his body still aching from the impact of Elara's magical energy.

However, the hatred bubbling in his heart overcame that physical pain. In Simon Oberon's eyes, madness and vengeance were burning.

His desire was burning and unstoppable. He did not even care if he had to use other dirty means to get his wish.

He looked at the direction where the magical passage disappeared, his breath coming in short gasps, but his heart full of determination to annihilate the entire Blaise family members without a trace.

"Call Tertius," Simon ordered his closest soldier in a hoarse voice. "We need all the strength we have to go after them. The girl must be stopped."

The soldier looked down in fear before rushing to summon Tertius, the notoriously sadistic and cruel shadow mage.

Simon knew that this was no longer an ordinary fight. This was a war between Blaise's bloodline and the darkness he had been building without anyone's knowledge for years.

"There is no place that can save you, Elara," he murmured softly. "I will end it all."

On the other side, a magical passage led Elara, Grace and Wilhelm to the edge of a ravine in the centre of the mountains.

A thick mist hung in the air, limiting the view to just a few metres ahead.

The Silverthorne Mountains loomed tall and proud, spanning a landscape that felt colder and bleaker than they had ever imagined.

Elara still felt weak, her body shivering from the tension that had just occurred.

However, a faint blue light still shone from her necklace, as if guarding and strengthening her despite her body's near exhaustion.

"We can't stop here," Grace said with a heavy sigh, her gaze tracing the edge of the chasm. "Simon must have called for reinforcements. It's only a matter of time until he finds us."

Wilhelm stood at the edge of the ravine, watching the thick fog blocking their view of the valley below. "We must cross over. Beyond this valley, there is an old city where Blaise's power is sealed. There, Elara can train and discover her true power."

Elara looked anxiously at the gorge. The wind that hit her face was cold and sharp, as if inviting danger with every step. "Will we survive? This place... feels different."

"Simon's darkness already pervades every corner of this world, Elara," Wilhelm replied. "But beyond Silverthorne, there is hope. You must believe."

Grace took Elara's hand and looked at her with determination. "You are a descendant of Blaise. You are stronger than you realise. We'll get through this together."

But before they could go any further, the roar of the wind suddenly changed. It was as if something was parting the fog, threatening their very existence. Wilhelm squinted, sensing a familiar-and very dangerous-presence.

"Tertius," Wilhelm muttered in a wary tone.

From behind the mist, a dark shadow began to take shape. A tall figure in black robes, with eyes that glowed blood-red, emerged slowly.

He was Tertius, the shadow mage who had served Simon for many years.

Tertius grinned, revealing unnaturally sharp teeth, as if ready to swallow his prey alive.

"You will never escape again," Tertius' voice echoed through the mist. "Simon has given me full power. That girl... must die."

Wilhelm immediately raised his staff, preparing a protective barrier. "You two, run!" he called to Grace and Elara. "I'll hold off Tertius."

"But-" Grace started to protest, but Wilhelm gave her a sharp look.

"Run!" Wilhelm shouted again, louder this time. "Elara must reach Silverthorne. Go now, or it's all for nothing!"

Grace gripped Elara's hand tighter. "We have to go. Come on!"

With hasty steps, they began to run along the edge of the chasm, leaving Wilhelm standing alone to face Tertius. Wilhelm knew he might not survive, but he knew he had to give Grace and Elara enough time.

Tertius stepped closer, his smile growing wider. "What did you expect, Wilhelm? You won't be able to hold me back. My power exceeds the limits of this world."

Wilhelm did not answer. With all the power he had, he began to recite an ancient incantation, creating a brightly lit circle of energy around him.

The ground beneath Wilhelm and Tertius' feet began to tremble, and a flash of light emerged from Wilhelm's staff, striking the ground like a bolt of lightning descending from the sky.

However, Tertius only laughed. With a single hand movement, he created a shadowy vortex that quickly attacked Wilhelm's barrier.

The dark power continuously struck Wilhelm's magical barrier, making it more and more cracked and weak.

"I will destroy you, Wilhelm," Tertius hissed. "And after that, the girl will fall into my hands."

Meanwhile, Grace and Elara ran with all their might, but the thunderous sound of the battle between Wilhelm and Tertius made their hearts race faster.

Elara could feel fear and despair creeping into her mind. However, in her heart, something whispered that they had to keep going.

"We can't leave Wilhelm..." Elara said in a trembling voice.

Grace looked at her niece, her face full of anxiety. "Wilhelm knew what he was doing. He sacrificed for us. We must make his sacrifice count."

Ahead of them, the mist began to fade, revealing the silhouette of the old town hidden behind the mountains.

Stone buildings covered in moss and wild plants stood silent in the centre of the rugged forest, as if waiting for them in mystery.

"We're close," Grace said under her breath. "That's Silverthorne."

But before they could go any further, a terrible scream sounded in the distance.

Elara turned around, her eyes widening as she saw the bright light where Wilhelm and Tertius were fighting. The scream did not come from Wilhelm.

Wilhelm had won, but at a great price.

"Come on," Grace said as she pulled Elara along. "We need to get into that town, before Simon comes."

Elara nodded slowly, but inside, she knew that this fight was far from over.

In the old town of Silverthorne, her destiny would be revealed, and Simon Oberon, her relentless enemy, would return.

The mist grew thicker as Elara and Grace entered the old town of Silverthorne. Around them, ancient buildings made of massive stone looked as if they had witnessed thousands of years of history. Trees clung to their walls, gripping them like hands forgotten by time. The atmosphere felt cold and tense, while the mountain breeze rustled gently, carrying faint sounds from the past."This town...," Elara murmured in a trembling voice. "Why does it feel so lonely and full of sadness?"Grace turned her head, her gaze serious. "This is no ordinary place, Elara. Silverthorne was once the Blaise family's power centre. Many have fallen here-friends and foes alike. We walk upon an old battlefield, and the power that remains here has not been fully extinguished."Their footsteps were heavy. Elara could feel the strange energy of the ground beneath her feet, as if something was watching them, waiting. In the distance, lightning flashed across the sky, followed by a rumble that broke the silence.

The energy from the battle between Elara and Simon grew so intense that the sky above Silverthorne turned a dusky red.The thunderstorm began to flash uncontrollably, and every lightning bolt that hit the ground made the ruins of the city tremble, as if the old city was also feeling the tension that was overflowing between the two.The wind picked up speed and slowly became a tornado ready to sweep away anything in its path. Grace could only stare in dismay, realising that this clash was too strong even for her."Elara!" shouted Grace, trying to reach her niece who was at the centre of the energy vortex. "You must retreat! This city will be destroyed if you keep fighting!"However, Elara no longer heard anything. Her focus was completely centred on Simon, who was now smiling slyly despite the growing number of wounds on his body.Behind his cold face, Elara could feel Simon's fear, a fear that was hidden behind every word he said. They both knew this was a decisive battle."Are you r

"It is a tradition between mother and daughter in your family to give away their valuables. I think your mother would have wanted you to wear it from today."Raven looked down, although the memory of her mother had not fully returned, but Raven often heard from her aunt that her mother had left her when she was a child due to an accident. After saying thank you and goodbye, Raven stepped into the dormitory leaving behind Grace who drove away in her favourite car."Goodbye Elara." Grace whispered behind the wheel while looking at Raven who had disappeared behind the dormitory door before finally stepping on the accelerator of her car. Inside the silent dormitory building, Raven looked at the long corridor with many doors standing in a row. It was a new beginning, but her heart felt heavy. Raven wore the blue-eyed necklace that Grace had just given her-it felt so familiar, as if it had a power that she couldn't understand. As she stepped deeper, the lights in the hallway suddenly fl

Raven woke up with a scream stuck in her throat, her chest rising and falling with gasping breaths. The image of the man-with his cold, piercing blue eyes-was still vividly imprinted in her memory. Cold sweat poured down her forehead. Her head felt dizzy at once. Everything felt so real and scary to Raven. "Raven! Are you okay?" Meredith's voice startled her. Raven jumped on the bed, her heart beating even faster because of Meredith. After regaining her composure, Raven turned around to see her roommate standing next to her bed, looking at her with a worried face."I'm sorry, I... I just had a bad dream," Raven tried to smile, though she was still shaken.Meredith sat on the edge of the bed, looking at her with concern. "You just shouted the name 'Simon' in your sleep. Who is he?"Raven just shook her head. "I... I'm not even sure I know who he is," she replied honestly. "But... it feels, like someone is trying to remind me of something important."Raven's forehead furrowed in an a

The night was getting late when Raven finally fell asleep again. However, this time her dream felt more real. She found herself standing in a misty forest, among tall trees that looked like dark shadows in the moonlight. She heard a whispered voice calling her name, "Elara... Elara..." A subtle, but haunting voice, calling from a direction she could not determine. As Raven stepped further into the darkness, a flash of light from the pendant around her neck caught her attention. The blue light glowed faintly, as if radiating a strange power. Amidst panic and the urge to run, Raven kept moving forward, following the whisper.Behind the trees, Raven finally saw the figure of a man with his back facing her. The man's shoulders that stood straight, the grey hair that glistened in the moonlight-Raven knew who he was."Simon," she hissed softly. However, the man remained motionless. Raven wanted to get closer, but his image began to blur, blending into the fog. "Simon!" Raven shouted, runn

"Time for what?" asked Raven, trying to reach him."Time for you to remember who you really are," Simon replied, his eyes blazing with an intensity she'd never seen before. "And, when you're ready, I'll be back to take you home."With those words, Simon's image vanished, and Raven awoke with a heart full of fear, but also curiosity. All the questions that had been haunting her began to press for answers, and she knew that no matter what, Raven could no longer run from the truth of who she was. And, deep in her heart, Raven felt that night was the beginning of a journey into the darkness she had been avoiding. That night, after the anxiety continued to haunt her, Raven decided to take a walk on campus.Raven chose to walk alone even though Meredith offered to accompany her to spend the night. The blonde-haired girl walked outside, down the hallway around her room to the dormitory courtyard. Under the moonlight, her steps echoed in the deserted dormitory hallways. Suddenly, she felt l

The next morning, Raven woke up with a heavy feeling in her chest. The dreams that had been plaguing her felt more and more real, as if the line between dream and reality was starting to fade. However, that morning she was determined to go about her day as an ordinary college student, without the shadows of the past demanding more and more answers and making her head hurt more and more as she tried to remember everything. After showering and getting dressed, she walked out of her room with slightly hesitant steps. Meredith, her cheerful roommate, was already waiting for her outside shaking a lunchbox in her hand."Good morning, sleepyhead!" greeted Meredith in a cheerful tone. "I even had time to get this for your breakfast before you woke up. I know, you must have overslept again, right?"Raven smiled embarrassedly, then accepted the lunchbox full of toast and fruit. "Thanks, Mer. You always know when I need a saviour.""Yeah, yeah. I know that." Meredith replied with an artificiall

In the days that followed, Raven tried to live her life like a normal student - greeting every activity with enthusiasm and enjoying her time with Meredith and her friends. That morning, Raven and Meredith sat on a bench in the campus park, enjoying the warm morning sun. Both of them were busy eating the chocolate muffins they bought at the cafeteria."I don't understand why professors like to make impromptu quizzes," Meredith grumbled, munching on her muffin. "Look, I didn't even have time to eat breakfast. I'm told to think about it in the morning!"Raven giggled. "That's practice too, Mer. You're still answering anyway, even if it's just the original?"Meredith glared. "Of course! It's a good thing I'm sitting next to you-at least I can follow your confident gaze for answers."The two of them laughed so hard that it attracted the attention of some students sitting nearby. Raven enjoyed little moments like this, away from the hustle and bustle and tension of her strange dreams. No

Raven's grip on her pendant tightened. She didn't. She didn't know them. She didn't want to go with them. But before Raven could say anything- DUARRR!!!A powerful explosion shook the university. The sound of shattering glass and loud screams mixed together. From outside, a blood-red flash of light split the night sky. That sound... that scream... Raven felt her body tremble. Something terrible was happening outside. Something related to her. Meanwhile, the first black-robed creature smiled faintly. "Look, Elara... it all started again."And in an instant, darkness engulfed the room.Darkness devoured the room in an instant. Raven could not see anything. Her breathing was ragged, her palms cold and clammy with sweat. Her body trembled not only from fear, but also from the strange feeling that was slowly running through her.A subtle whisper swirled in her head, like a voice coming from a distance. A low rumbling sound could be heard in the distance, like something was moving closer. The creatures in the darkness were no longer just lurking-they began to step into the light, revealing their forms. Raven held her breath. The figures were tall, thin, with black eyes that shone in the darkness. Their skin looked like flowing shadows, changing shape with their steps. The whispering voice continued, echoing inside her head. "Elara... we've been waiting for you... Raven and Professor Valtorius immediately turned towards the source of the voice. "What?" Professor Valtorius narrowed his eyes. "She... she was kidnapped! We saw a black shadow dragging her into the portal!" the student said under his breath. Instantly, Raven's blood froze. Sister Helena...The woman who had always been there for him, who helped him from his first day at York University... Kidnapped? By whom? By Ilyana? Without thinking, Raven clenched her fists. Enough was enough. She could not keep running away from this reality. If it was true that she was Elara Blaise... If it was true that she was the last descendant of the Blaise family... Then it was time for her to face her destiny. She turned to Professor Valtorius, her eyes full of determination. "Tell me, Professor. How can I save Sister Helena?" Professor Valtorius looked at her for a moment before finally smiling a small smile. "Now you're ready." Somewhere, deep in the darkness... Sister Helen

The air around Bastion Blaise was still filled with the remnants of the mysterious figure's presence. The dense scent of mist mixed with the aura of magic that had not completely dissipated. Raven stood stiffly, her hands still gripping the pendant around her neck tightly. Professor Valtorius looked at her with a serious expression. "Are you alright?" Raven swallowed. Her heart was still beating fast, and the fear that had been holding her back was slowly turning into something else. Anger."What the hell is going on?!" her voice raised, her eyes looking straight at Professor Valtorius. "Why are they calling me Elara? Why do they want me back?" Professor Valtorius paused for a moment, as if carefully composing his words. "Because you are one of them, Raven." Raven shook her head. "No, I'm not. I don't belong to anyone! I just want to live a normal life. I never asked for any of this!" Suddenly, the wind picked up, shaking the ruins around them. It was as if the world was

Raven's heart sank. She wanted to run, wanted to scream, but her body felt rooted to the spot. The figure stepped closer. Black energy enveloped her body, creating a dark mist that swirled around her. Raven felt something tug at her chest-the pendant around her neck began to throb. And then, something even more terrifying happened. The pendant began to glow. The once faint silver glow turned bright, emitting a shimmering blue light that broke the darkness. The black-robed figure stopped his steps. It hissed, its hoarse voice like a dry twig breaking. "Do not fight your destiny, Elara.""You are the key we have been waiting for."Raven shook her head strongly. "I'm not Elara! I'm not part of this!" But before she could retreat, suddenly... BRAK!A loud noise from outside the door made them both flinch.Raven turned her head with her heart racing.Someone... or something... was out there.Professor Valtorius' eyes narrowed. With a quick movement, he grabbed the long staff hanging on the wall, its tip shimmering as energy began to gather around it."Raven, stay behind me.""What's going on?!" whispered Raven, her voice barely audible.Professor Valtorius did not answer. He just stared at the door which began to tremble softly... as if something was trying to get in.And just then, a strange whisper came from behind the door."Elara Blaise..."Raven's blood froze. They knew her name. They really wanted her."Elara Blaise..."The whisper came from behind the door.Raven froze. It was not a human voice. It was hoarse, echoing, as if coming from the deepest abyss of darkness."Elara... you can't hide..."Her blood froze. That name-a name she had never even recognised as her own-was now being called by something she could not

But before he could react further-the shadow behind him suddenly changed shape.Entwined like a mist... then vanished.Beltharion frowned. "That thing is playing with us..."On the west side, Thalvador Grimshade stood atop the Lorrywood tower, watching over the area below. From above, the campus looked like a maze filled with darkness. The night breeze was strong, but something in the air felt... heavy. She frowned. The sky was getting blacker.Then... in the distance... Thalvador saw something moving on the roof of the dormitory building.A black figure. Hovering.Thalvador wasted no time. He darted down from the tower, landed lightly on the ground and immediately headed in the direction of the figure. But as soon as he arrived-there was only a trail of shadows that began to disappear. And on the dormitory wall, a strange red symbol was carved.Thalvador's eyes narrowed."This is getting wors

"And I suspect it still has something to do with the incident five years ago."Beltharion nodded in agreement. "If it is indeed the same force we face, then we must act quickly before more victims fall."Magnus looked at Valtorius. "What are you going to do?"Valtorius took a deep breath, about to answer.However-the meeting room door suddenly slammed loudly.CRACK!The five university heads turned their heads in alarm.Adrian stood in the doorway with a pale face and shortness of breath. His robes were rumpled, sweat soaked his forehead, and his eyes were full of panic."What are you doing here?" Malveric asked coldly.
