Alexander and Amelia left the dining room, and I turned to Martins, "What do you think, Martins?"

Martins raised an eyebrow, "About what exactly."

"Alexander and Amelia. They seem to be growing closer, even after she lost the baby. He even cooked for her." I said, irritated.

"I think Alexander is just trying to be considerate because of what happened."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his response. "So, does this mean you like her now?"

"No, Selene." He replied quickly. "You're still my choice."

I scoffed, "Who knows? Maybe she intentionally had the miscarriage because she knew the baby wasn't his. And if she had kept it, he would find out eventually. I'm sure she was scared of what Alexander might do to her if he learnt the truth."
