Chapter 52 - Dominic POV

When Angel sits beside me, the courage to ask everything stuck in my throat seems to fade. I hadn't joined in the run and had waited patiently for Angel to return.

Seeing Peter hiding behind his father and both of them going into the bedroom without even glancing at me, I felt destroyed inside.

I don't mind that my mate is a man or a human, but he's not feeling the mate-bond, and that's a huge problem. How am I going to make him give me a chance?
