DAISY’S POV

Max opened the text, and I stared at it, with him, and to our dismay, the response was a big hit to our hopeful hearts.

“To hell with you!”

My heart felt slashed by a sharp sword, and I could barely breathe.

“Sh*t!” Max cursed out, sharply, and then rose to his feet.

He dashed out of the room, and I got up to my feet as well, and followed after him to know what he was up to, next.

On getting to the living room, Nicholas had just walked up to him.

“I need you to track the caller, right now.” He instructed Nicholas, in a tone of seriousness.

“On it.” Nicholas responded as he got on his laptop, and tapped at the keys, as fast as he could.

He seemed to be good at such things, and I hoped deeply in my heart that they would be traceable. I couldn’t bear to imagine what they could have done or what they were doing, currently to Nadia.

After a while of tapping, Nicholas let out a sigh of relent, and shook his head.
