DAISY’S POV

I felt the urge to ask him why he had been staring, but the situation was just too eerie for me to bother asking. Who knew what it could lead to, if I actually tried to ask?

Without wasting much time, I picked up all that I wanted to get, and then paid for it, even without collecting the change as I had told the seller not to bother.

Just as I began to head back to where Max and our children were, I heard quickened footsteps behind me, and I almost screamed, if not that he jumped right in front of me.

Although, I gasped in shock as I wasn’t expecting him to pop up just in front of me.

“Why are you stalking me!” I voiced out, trying to muster up the courage to confront him.

But then, he chuckled, and swept his flying hair, to the back.

“Stalk you? You just met me at the shop. There’s no way I was stalking you.”

“But you kept staring at me.”

“Oh, that? I was admiring you. I love the way you look. You are a very beautiful woman.” He complimented me, staring at me with lustful
