DAISY’S POV

We both headed to the room, and I stepped into the bathroom to wash up. I couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear, each time the beautiful moment we just had, flashed before my eyes.

I washed my hair one more time, and then turned off the shower.

On stepping out of the bathroom, into the bathroom, Max had also freshened up. I guess he used the bathroom in one of the other rooms.

“Here comes the beauty.” He uttered, with a smile on his face.

My cheeks went hot a little, and my eyes fell to the ground, finding it a little difficult to make eye contact with him.

Then my phone buzzed and I walked over to the bed to pick it up.

“A video message?” I uttered under my breath, then opened it.

A sharp gasp escaped my mouth as I saw my precious little daughter in the hands of supposed murders.

“Mommy! Help me!” She cried out loud, in tears.

Max overheard the scream, and stood up immediately to join me, out of curiosity.
