Chapter 3

In my previous life, Melody tricked me into going to the staircase. Then, I was shoved down the stairs. Zach only found me after seven hours. He should have returned home right after work that day.

I would have survived if he had returned home at the usual time.

Finally, I knew why.

How silly of me! Zach was a wolf in sheep's clothing. I was being played for a fool without even knowing it.
