Chapter 1

Mallory's POV:

"Mallory...." I heard the deep voice whispered my name in my ear, as I was fast asleep on the bed in my bedroom.

"Mmmm," I tried to turn and to push the figure away, as I was deeply asleep, but then, the person looming above me yanked a handful of my hair.

"Ah!" My eyes snapped opened, and seeing who was above me. I gasped, "Ace Lennox. Beta Andrew's son."

"Ace... What are you doing here?" I whispered, asking him, as I gazed at his honey brown eyes, staring back at me.

"Shush, Mallory..." Ace hushed me up, placing his right thumb on my thin, pink lips.

"I came to see how you're doing. Your birthday is tomorrow. Don't you think that you deserve a birthday gift from me?" Ace asked, stripping of his white shirt as he wore a white dress shirt and black trousers.

Ace was a tall, masculine guy, and I gulped hard, asking him, "What kind of birthday gift is that? Why don't you wait until tomorrow morning to present it to me?"

Ace shook his head and replied, "No, Mallory. You deserve to have the gift tonight. It's very special and I have been keeping it for you."

"What's that?" I asked, looking at his handsome brown face.

Ace is the future Alpha of our pack, as my father has no son. Even as I am the Alpha's first daughter. I lost my respect because I haven't shifted to my wolf since I was born, and my younger sister, Sonia has been able to shift, since she was fourteen years old.

I have no wolf, no scent and everyone in our pack looks down on me, but they looked up to Sonia to become the next Luna, while they overlook me. And the worst, Sonia seems to bask on it and she makes it look like I am the bad egg.

I love Ace Lennox and wanted to be his mate, but he does not speak to me, nor spare me any glance at all, during the day time.

Ace mostly avoids me and I wonder how he was able to sneak into my room on the top floor of this Magnificent two-story building, that was the Alpha's mansion.

So it amazes me that Ace was able to get access in here, and I pondered, maybe he came to see Sonia as her room was on this top floor too. Since my parents' room was on the right wing of the mansion and Sonia and I had separate rooms on the left wing.

"I want to give you a priceless gift tonight, Mallory, but you must promise me that you wouldn't shout, and you will enjoy it," Ace said, looking at me with desire as he removed his singlet too.

I gulped hard, seeing Ace's full, broad brown-skinned chest. He has a strong, masculine personality, and hasn't been defeated by any warriors, and I felt the urge to touch him.

I felt that Ace was going to be my fated mate tomorrow, once I turned 18 years old, and I was wondering what the birthday celebration will be for me, since my father, Alpha Bruce Adonis doesn't like me.

"I want to sleep with you, Mallory. To pleasure you and you don't have to shout, alright. I want you as much as you want me too," Ace said, touching my lips as his brown eyes glowed with desire by that time of the night.

"You want me?" I asked him with desire, and he nodded, "Yes."

"Alright," I agreed, pulling him closely into a warm hug. At this point, it warmed my heart to see that Ace Lennox wanted me.

I knew that everyone in the pack looks down on me, but seeing that I had someone who doesn't look down on me made me happy.

"I know that we are going to be destined mates tomorrow. I want you, Ace," I whispered back, caressing his chest, and he brought his face closer to mine and kissed me with passion.

Ace Lennox was a 21-year-old guy, and many young women in our pack, the Bright Moon pack, crushed on him. Even, my younger sister, Sonia Adonis was hoping that by the time she turned 18 years old, she will become Ace Lennox's mate and our new Luna.

Sonia and I are only a year apart, because my father had married her mother immediately after my mother's dismissal.

My mother passed away after my birth, and so, I and Sonia were half-sisters. As my father had to take up another Luna to help in protecting our pack members and governing the women.

My mother was an Omega who happened to be my father's true mate, but when I was born, the pack doctor, Dr. Chosen Kingsley told my father that I was an Omega too. A weak link of the pack, which got him disappointed. And I hadn't met my wolf, and was unable to shift like the rest of our pack members.

I was short, fair-skinned with lengthy blonde hair, while Sonia was tall, light-skinned, too and very beautiful.

I wasn't a dwarf, but I was of average height and not as tall as her.

It hurt me that no one wants to associate with me as I was mostly at home. Except when I went to school in the pack school to get the basics of education. But seeing that Ace wants me, and I knew that he was my fated mate. I agreed to make love with him, hoping that he will give me the best birthday gift ever and marry me. Besides, my 18th birthday was the next day. Which I wasn't sure will be celebrated.

"Are you ready?" Ace whispered, asking me as he was now fully naked on my bed.

I swallowed hard, seeing his unclothed form, how he looked so powerful, and I tried not to stare at his member, not believing that I was doing this with Ace. What if my father heard us or caught us.

Well, Ace took off my nightdress, and my underwear leaving me fully nàked on the small bed with him.

"Yes," I moaned, breathlessly, and Ace prepared himself to thrust into me.

"This will hurt a little, just endure it okay. You will love it," Ace said and pushed his way in. As he laid above me. 

By the time Ace crossed the bridge, and thrust into me. I gasped, "Ha!" I cried, but he didn't stop or withdraw himself.

"Take me, Mallory," Ace whispered and kept on with his relentless actions of slamming his hips hard against mine. I cried, "Ace, It's hurt."

I was about to faint on the bed and Ace growled, "Damn it, Mallory! You're so tight! Relax yourself!"

Ace kept on with his actions and he brought his face to mine and whispered. "You're mine," he buried his face in my neck, and I felt he brought his fangs and bit me.

"Ah!" I groaned, as Ace climaxed in me and marked me at the same time. After a while, he withdrew himself and licked the spot that he marked on my neck.

"I have to go now, Mallory. Happy 18th birthday to you, my mate," Ace kissed my lips once more, as he got down from my bed and dressed up quickly.

Just then, I heard the sounds of hurried footsteps approaching my room door.

The door yanked open, but Ace had already flew out the window, and I wondered if he hadn't broken his legs.

However, my stepmother, Luna Lily came in and glared at me.

"Mallory, what are you doing on the bed by this time of the night. And you are naked too? Were you the one moaning so loudly?"

Luna Lily marched up to my pink bed to meet me, and she yanked my bed cover away, that I had used to cover up my chest and gasped, "Mallory, you bìtch! Who were you sleeping with in your room?"

Luna Lily dragged me by my left arm, and pulled me out of my bed as she yelled, "I am going to report you to your father tonight! Come with me!" She dragged me away, not minding that I was fully unclothed.
