“Rune.”

Turning around, I met her gaze. “Yes, Mother?”

“Come here.”

I changed my direction, leading my way to the table once more. Did she need something? Or was this a call to remind me about the wrongs I have done? I wondered with a sigh running out of my mouth, although only I could hear it.

“Do you want something, Mother?”

She shook her head. “Not really. I wanted to ask about your whereabouts. Do you have an appointment?” She asked me who looked at her, uncertain about what to say. “Is there someone you're going to see?”

I didn't know what to say, not because I didn't have an answer but because I didn't know how to go about this question. “Mother, it's nothing serious, you know?” I touched her face. “I need to get some stuff from the market and that's all.” I assured her before walking back to the door of my chamber.
