RUNE POV

Since the last argument, Lila hasn't said a word to me.

What was there to say, after all? I watched her walk past me and in the same way, I walked past her. What could I do about it?

I thought when I woke up this morning. How about I met her and we talked things out?

My fingers snapped and the door opened.

“Good morning, my lord,” a guard greeted me with a bow. “What can I do for you this morning?”

He walked closer and I sat up even straight, smiling and heaving a sigh at the same time.

“Good morning to you too, wolf. I need you to ask my wife to be here as soon as she can,” I sounded, adding to it.

“I want to speak with her about something and I need to do it as quickly as possible before I leave for the sparring area.”

Having said this, I was on my feet and headed to the wardrobe so that I could select the outfit of the day.
