RUNE POV

I looked at her, confusion written all over my face.

“I—” I uttered, still confused.

“It's nice to meet you again.” I added, not also knowing what to say.

The woman next to her was Aella, and she looked good too.

Their faces shone and body skins glowed, making me wonder what the issue was and how my former wife went about it.

“RUNE!” Someone shouted in the presence of many others and I looked to my right to see an angry look on the face of the woman I came out with.

“Are you going to take her back as your wife now, huh?”

Lila asked and I shook my head, turning around again to see the two women order food from the counter where meals were sold.

“I'm sorry, babe—” I heaved a sigh and smiled. “—do you want to order something before we make it back home?”

I asked and she heaved a sigh also, noticing the changes in my mood but was I to be blamed?
