Chapter 21

RAVEN POV

When I walked out of the manager's room, I heaved a sigh.

“Thank you,” I looked at the lady, recognizing her face the next moment. “I think I've met you before when I came for the interview.

We talked but I can't remember correctly.”

She smiled, giving a nod also. “Yes, ma'am. I followed you to the door of the manager's office.

Remember?” We caught up with a door and she stopped to look at me who gave a nod. “You'll be settling into the office while I work on the contract you'll sign.”

I gave a nod, waiting for her to open up so I could walk in. When she did, she let me walk in before she did, mouthing words I didn't hear.

“Nice office you've got, I'll explain the pros and cons to you before the end of the day. I know it won't be so hard to understand.”

She smiled, walked to the curtain side, and opened it, walking back to the front of me and then pointing at the chair - a massive chair facing a system.

“Is that mine?”

She laughed, walking towards the door
