Chapter 202

Beta Recce's POV

I headed to the meeting and it was soon in session. If anything, I hated PTA meetings as much as I hated the ones with the council. I was highly uncomfortable and all the while, I was trying to keep my cool. I was still angry at that stupid principal and Ms. Funny-nose

I watched as Grey stated his concern to the board of governors. I listened as hard as I could though all I wanted was for the meeting to be over already.

I turned my head to the window and I caught a glimpse of Bailey dash out from the school and slip into the forest. I sat up in alarm. What was she doing? I told her a thousand times not to go there. My wife saw my distress and she tapped my hand lovingly.

"Are you qokay dear?" she said in a sweet whisper.

"I'm okay. I just saw Bailey. She went into the forest again," I whispered back to her. I was quite furious and I knew that she could tell.

"Just calm down. When we get home, we can talk to her. Maybe she went with her friends."
