Chapter 105

Bailey's POV

I lay on the floor; blood was pouring out of from the wound on my head. Everywhere had been black for a while. I was soon able open my eyes. I was so weak and tired. My body ached but I had no strength to groan. I wanted to die. Life was unbefitting of me. As I lay on the ground, bloodied and bruised, all I could think about was Alpha Grey. What would he think of me? I shouldn't have disobeyed him, I shouldn't have trusted Miguel. I had a big red sign in the form of his threat but I sheepishly pushed it aside and followed him anyway. I was such a fool.

I prayed in the depths of my heart that Alpha Grey wouldn't save me. I wasn't worthy of it. A silent tear ran down my face. He deserved better than me.

As I lay sadly on the floor in tears, the door opened loudly. I couldn't see the face. Soon my chair was raised up and I was back in a proper sitting position. My head was so badly hurt that my vision was blurry.

"Well, guess who is awake?"
