Chapter 108

Bailey's POV

I wasn't sure of how many days had passed. My senses of perception were all dulled by the pain that was coursing through my body. I was only aware of my pain and hurt. I had been left on the floor for a while and I hadn't eaten in days. My stomach felt like needles lined them but there was nothing I could do.

I felt the warm rays of the sun hit me through the small window in the room. I wondered why it was now but it gave me a new feeling of hope. My wolf had stirred once or twice in my head and I tried to summon her strength but my weak body wouldn't let me. Finally I could get my claws out. I was able to shift my tightly tied wrists a little bit and soon I had cut the ropes on my left wrist. My body thanked me as blood finally flowed through my palms properly, for the first time in days. I waited for the numb sensation to ease off then cut my other wrist free.
