Chapter 146

Anna enjoyed her evening. She hadn't experienced this for a long time and she wanted to relive this moment again.

After swimming, Lucian had lifted her up and had kissed her, their wet bodies moving against each other. He lay her down on the beach, not caring if the sharp sand was going to stain their skins.

Lucian kissed her body, savored her skin, worshiped her body under the moonlight and made her moan with pleasure. He didn't go further than that and Anna wondered if she'd still live if anything more than that had happened.

It was late at night when they got home and Lucian had suggested that they slept together in his room. Anna refused with reasons that he had to wake up really early to be at Ohio for the council meeting.

They both retired to their respective rooms and Anna stayed awake for a while before falling asleep.

At exactly three am in the night, Anna woke up with a startle. She was dreaming, again.
