LOGAN’S POV

“What did you say you had to stay back to do?” Gertrude asked.

“To summon the moon goddess,” I said. I saw a shattered blade on the ground. The blade was probably Scott’s. I picked it up and inserted it into my pocket.

“Summon the moon goddess? You must be joking. Aren’t you going to tell me what you really want to do?” Gertrude insisted.

“I’ll repeat myself for the last time. I’m going to summon the moon goddess.”

I walked into an idle room. I looked around for a while. The room seemed like a good spot. It was also spacious enough for me to perform the summoning spell.

“What are we doing here? Is this where you intend to summon the so-called moon goddess?” Gertrude asked with an uninterested tone.

“If you have nothing good to say, I suggest that you keep your mouth shut,” I said plainly.

“Forgive me, forgive me. So how are you going to summon her?” Gertrude asked.

“Firstly, we have to find a spacious and quiet area such as this room. Secondly, I’ll have to use my blood,”
