Chapter 4

Kassius and I spent the entire weekend together. My uncle spent his weekends at bars or passed out so he never noticed I wasn't home. Kassius showed me some of his favorite hangout spots. There was a small pool hall just outside of town that he loved. He took me there one night. It was run by one of the older pack members so they allowed us to have drinks even though we were under age. Kassius was somewhat of a pool shark and enjoyed playing. I, on the other hand, had never once played and he decided it was time that I learn. 

 The pool hall was pretty quiet when we got there.  The building was very old and run down looking. The inside was dark, there was a small bar on one side with about six barstools. There were several booths lining the walls. All the walls were painted a dark green and were covered in photos and vintage metal signs. The back of the place had several pinball machines and pool tables. Kassius led me to the table in the far back corner of the building. He placed a couple of quarters in the slot and the balls released into the holding area. He placed a triangle holder on the table and told me to put all the colored balls inside while he went to get us some drinks. 

By the time he returned with the drinks I the table set up and was ready to play. He took a pool cue off the rack on the wall and showed me how to hold it. I was really enjoying this one-on-one time with him. He really seemed to be enjoying himself. I loved seeing him in his element, in a place that he felt comfortable in. Looking around at the dirty torn carpet that I was pretty sure was older than we were I realized how different he and Kai really were. Kai wouldn't be caught dead in a place like this, but Kassius seemed to thrive in this environment. I sometimes wondered how they had become best friends. They were complete opposites. 

Kai came up behind me placing his strong arms around me. He placed his hands over mine guiding them with the pool cue. I inhaled his scent, he smelled like an ocean breeze and made me feel more relaxed than I could ever remember feeling. I turned my head to look at him expecting to see him focused on the pool table when much to my surprise I saw a huge smile on his face and his eyes peering directly into mine.  His big beautiful dark eyes held so much emotion. I couldn't quite understand what he saw in me. He had always been known as a player, he had a new girl on his arm every time I saw him. So why would he suddenly be so wrapped up in me.  I wondered if this was the beginning of the mate bond forming between us. We wouldn't be able to choose our mates for many months but I had hoped this was it for me. Being with Kassius just felt right.

“Do you want to get out of here? I want to take you somewhere more private.” Hold told me and I happily agreed. We downed our drinks and headed to the car.

I was surprised when Kassius reached over to hold my hand while he was driving. I hadn't expected him to be so affectionate so soon. It felt good to know he cared and wasn't afraid to show it. I smiled at him and gently squeezed his hand to let him know I was feeling the same things I was sure he was feeling. Soon we pulled into a wooded area I didn't recognize. Kassius grabbed a blanket from the trunk of the car and led me to a clearing. There was a small lake with a waterfall. The place was completely secluded and I wondered how many people knew it was even here. 

“Is this where you bring all of the girls?” I laughed half joking and half seriously wanting to know how many times he had brought a girl here to impress her or any other reason.

“Fallon, I know what people think about me. I know my reputation, and maybe at one point it was true. I am not that guy anymore.  Think about it, when was the last time you saw me with a girl? It's been a while. I fell for you well before I saw you at the pack house Kitten. You are no normal girl. You are extraordinary and the only girl worthy of bringing here.” he was right it had been some time since I had seen him with someone he was dating rather than just friends. I never really thought about it. I for sure didn't expect that it had anything to do with me.

He laid the blanket out on the grass next to the water, taking my hand and guiding me to lay next to him on the blanket. “You are so perfect.” he whispered in my ear. My face began to flush. I could feel a twist forming in my belly, I wanted him badly. He was everything I had dreamt he would be and so much more. He placed kisses down my neck and it sent sparks down my spine. Every spot he touched felt electrified. He continued kissing down my neck stopping at the sensitive spot where my neck met my shoulder. His warm tongue darted out licking that spot slowly, seductively. “Yes Kassius, I want that more than you know.” I let out breathlessly. 

“Tell me you want me, kitten.” he continued kissing and licking down my neck to my chest.

“I want you Kassius, I really do but I don't know that I am ready just yet.” I told him honestly.

“Don't you worry Kitten. I will never expect you to do anything you aren't ready for. Trust me when I say there is so much more we can do if you aren't ready to go all the way. Would you like me to show you?” he whispered into my ear his breath fanning across my neck giving me chills. I nodded my head giving him permission to continue. 

He lifted my shirt over my head and unhooked my bra. I inhaled sharply as the cool air hit my bare nipples. I felt so exposed out in the open but also felt so turned on by the thought of getting caught with him like this. My breath caught in my throat as he took my pink nipple into his mouth.
