Chapter 41 - Leaving

"Whoa," I stumbled backward and instantly felt Diego's tingly touch behind my back. His furry and huge hands were instantly around all three of our bodies.

"Deeee," both girls shrieked. Though all the weight of the three of us was on Diego, I groaned as they squished me. They must have heard me because both girls moved away from me, and I took a few steps away from Diego. I looked at the girls and realized that they were the twin daughters of Luna Queen, Aria, and Bria.

They had been smiling ear to ear at Diego before, but my presence seemed to have affected their shocked expressions. "Isn't she the same girl?" one of them said, and the other nodded. "Someone's coming," the same twin said, and both of them grabbed Diego's hands, pushed him inside his room, and closed the door behind them.
