Chapter 47 - The Bitter Truth

"He was looking directly at me as if he knew that I would come here. He took a step, but I raised my hand, and he stopped. I gestured for him to wait and came out of the kitchen.

"Listen, Arya, I have to go. Duty calls, but you can cook anything you want. Ask Aria and Bria for any kind of help," I told her. For once, I thought she was going to say something, but she decided against it and just nodded.

"Cool," I nodded and went out of the house. I walked directly in the direction where Federico was, and though I didn't want to meet him, I knew that the situation couldn't be ignored. He was standing there, and if I hadn't gone to meet him then he would not take much time to come to my place. I walked toward him and found him standing there patiently and proudly, as always.
