Zyrielle's POV.

Three Days Later,

I was looking through my box and discovered that I had left some of my gold necklaces back at Lucas's place.

It doesn't seem like I couldn't leave them with him, but I also remembered that I had certain documents that I had to retrieve.

Dang it! How did I forget so soon?

Returning to that house would set a lot of tempers flying, and I had vowed not to step into that place unless I was taking back my mansion.

Rain had been actively working to get some clients boarded, which was one of the reasons we hadn't spoken about how this was supposed to go. I, on the other hand, was only just recovering, so I didn't want to be involved in any back-and-forth between me and these people.
