Thirty-Four

Zyrielle's POV.

"I don't think we would take such option at least not behind her back." I heard a voice saying although I was yet to open my eyes. I felt a bit of reluctance trying to rise. It was as though something was pinning me down and I was contemplating the best way to cry for help. Also, I wanted to hear the basis of the conversation.

"We should do this as fast as possible, at least before the next month. What do you think?" I had a strange voice ask and I was very much interested in knowing what they were discussing.

My eyes fluttered open after a few minutes, and I jumped when a cool arm touched mine. "hey, it's me; you don't need to be afraid." Rain said, smiling down at me. Although his eyes were a bit hooded, I realized that he was hiding something and it was eating him up.

I coughed, trying to test my voice.

"Thank you for bringing me here. I guess it's the doctor that just left." I answered instantly, clearing my throat again so that I could continue with the convers
