Zyrielle's POV.

I tapped my feet on the ground impatiently as I continued waiting up for Rain to return from his meeting.

He had promised that he wasn't going to stay long but now my mind was beginning to go haywire. A part of me reminded myself not to be gullible the second time.

How would someone say that he had a meeting at such an odd hour and I believed hook, line and sinker in the first place.

That showed my level of trust in a person and how it was backfiring on me. This was the same thing that Lucas did when he began to cheat on me with Cheryl.

I slinked the glass door open and walked out to receive some fresh air at the balcony. I had a lot of things to think of instead of thinking of a man who probably had a lot going for him and was only stringing me along.
