I tossed and turned in bed unable to fall asleep. I missed Harlyn and wanted her in bed with me. Since I got her back from the Orange Moon pack, this was the first night we were spending apart and I didn’t like it at all. The bed felt empty, the room felt empty.

My wolf was grumpy and judging me even when I explained that I couldn’t say no to her sister. It was their first meeting and she wanted them to spend the night together, I would be the devil to say no. My wolf didn’t understand that though. His grumpy ass just wanted to be near our mate.

“You know yet you let her go!”

He grumbled, I rolled my eyes and got out of bed. It was late but I couldn’t get any sleep. Aside from being unable to fall asleep because I felt lonely, I also hated the thought of what I found out earlier. I tried to reach Hillan multiple times but each time, the call went to voicemail, and that made me even more suspicious.
