I said and he laughed. Nothing changed. I still felt just as comfortable with him as always. His tone didn’t sound different and he still had his sense of humor so Bernardo was out of his mind for thinking Hillan would be a villain.

“Nothing, Bernardo is away and I just wanted to hear your voice. Do you have a problem with that?”
