“It’s okay, Lyn, you were just a child then. You don’t have to force yourself to remember.”

She assured me.

“Yes, she’s right. We barely have any memories of our mom. If we didn’t find her diary and if our relatives didn’t show us her photos, we would probably have forgotten what she looked like too.”

Harry added. We strolled together to the front door. Whoever has been taking care of the house must have been really dedicated because everywhere was clean and even looked like someone recently tended to it.

“Here goes nothing.”

Harry said and inserted the key into the front door. It worked at once and he pushed the huge door open.
