What's the worse that could happen

Evening....

The once salmon and purple sky transformed into a vast expanse of jet-black that engulfed the mountainous cavite Peninsula. 

A canopy of luminous stars materialized amongst the ocean of blackness. Some were dull, merely flickering into existence every now and then, but there was an adequate amount of shimmering stars to illuminate the dark, moonless night. The Manila bay glistened, mirroring the dazzling assemblage of glittering stars and the luminescence from the tiny ports and food markets that lined the country of Philippines.

The airplane tilted slightly to the right and began a slow and steady turn. Below, the capitol looked like square plots on a huge map. Small cars heading down two-way roads came into view, as well as enchanting various colored homes that brightened the window. 

Athena felt her ears pop, and she opened her mouth in an attempt to release the pressure that was making her feel uncomfortable. The wind howled as the airplane made its final turn onto the waiting runway and ended with a mild rumbling as the tires kissed the tarmac. Soon enough, people got up and were scavenging for their belongings.

Athena and her parents also stood up , carried their luggages and headed for the exit of the aeroplane.

They first of all went to a corner to change all the dollars they had to pesos.

Immediately they were cleared at the airport and all they stepped out and flagged down a taxi.

"Mindoro" Her father said as they got in.

They already booked a serviced apartment before hand.

It was a quite long journey from Manila and in approximately five hours they finally arrived.

Meanwhile ....

At the white werewolves/ Vampire headquarters ....

Soft music going on in the background, a pup (baby werewolf) had just been born and they were having a little get together.

All the while they had been living in fear and secret , although they fought the black werewolves and vampires in the little way they can.

They had really believed that Matt and Althea child was the Elected one and would bring an end to their suffering, and they waited patiently for her baby.

All their dreams of freedom were crushed when they heard Althea had been bitten by a vampire.

Although she transformed but she wasn't strong enough to control it , she died , whether or not she did with the Elected one they didn't know .

They didn't see Matt or the baby either ever again.

Rumors had it that Matt left with his baby because he didn't want her to be involved in their world since she was born a mere mortal, but none of them knew for sure what happened.

Everyone was chatting cheerfully as the occasion went on.

Immediately they was a loud cry and every one's attention turned to Jasper, the town's seer.

He started speaking in languages no one could understand, they kept staring at him , he was having a vision at the moment.

"I see her , I see her" he suddenly started chanting.

"I see the elected one , she has arrived!"

"She has come with a heart determined to save her people"

"She has come determined to give freedom to all species mortal and immortal"

"She has come!, She's the Elected one!"

"She's here, we'll finally get the freedom we dream of"

"Freedom!, Freedom!!"

"I see freedom"

"I see the whole Mindoro town lightened up just now!"

"Light ! Light! Light!"

"I see light" He said as his voice reduced to a whisper and he slumped to the floor.

"Awuuuu" all the werewolves and Vampires howled and hissed respectively in excitement and and joy at the news they had just heard.

This is like the best news in decades .

Immediately he was settled Jasper slowly stood up from the floor as he smiled in content.

He was a human also but he had the gift of vision.

Immediately he stood up he and the council of leaders summoned themselves to the upper confidential room.

"Now that we are certain the Elected one is here" 

"How do we know who exactly it is " the head guardian asked.

"She should show up here" Jake one of the powerful werewolf said.

"You can't be so sure , from what I saw she came with questions also" Jasper said .

"She's a bit confused at heart" he added.

"Hmm" the head guardian said as he stood up and walked to the window he looked out and sighed .

"So what do we do?!" Phil , another vampire asked .

"Let's just hope and pray that the Luna (Goddess of the moon) guides us to her" Jasper said and the all nodded.

"For the mean time you all be at alert " 

"Yes head guardian " they all said and bowed.

"What about our white wolf that's in the outlaw's Lair ( lair of the black werewolves Vampire) "

"He's still there maintaining low profile , for now he hasn't been caught" Jake said.

"It's getting riskier by the moment , he should leave there now"

"It's not as easy as it seems, but we'll make moves though!!" Jake replied.

"I think I have an idea and it'll make us find her as soon as possible " Phil said and they all turned to him .

At the outlaw's Lair.....

"Who was sent to get rid of Althea" the head guardian growled.

"Christine" someone Answered.

"Get her for me " he growled.

Immediately she came in , she fearfull stood in front of him and bowed her head.

"How hard is it for you to get something right" he growled as he stood up from the huge chair where he sat on a kind of like raised platform Like a throne.

"I had her killed " 

"Don't you dare try to defend yourself " he spat as he wrapped his hands around her neck and raised her off the ground.

"Did you confirm her dead?!" He asked but she just kept quiet , she knew better than to answer his question in situations like this.

"I hate incompetent people around me " he growled as he raised his hands and pierced it through her stomach , she burned into ashes and disappeared into the thin air.

"Now gather round everyone and listen to me carefully " he growled , disappearing and taking his seat back on the chair.

"Find her at all cost and bring her to me!" 

"What are you waiting for go out now and find her!!" He growled .

"Yes Almighty one" they all murmured and scurried away .

Athena's POV

9:00pm ...

"Where are you going?!" Mom asked as I opened the entrance door.

"It's quite late already plus you don't know anywhere" she said

"I'll just sit outside, the smell of a new house is making me dizzy ,dust and all" I replied and she nodded.

"Are you sure it's safe?!" 

"It's really late " dad said.

"It's alright,I just need the night breeze just for a few minutes " I said 

"Alright I'll just help you dust your room , you can put your stuff away later" .

"Thank you Mom " I said and walked outside as I slammed the door.

I heard the hovering of a jet in the sky and I looked up towards it.

This Late?!

I noticed it was dropping envelopes as it moved around and soon I couldn't see it anymore .

I stood up slowly and walked towards the main street as I picked up one of the envelope.

"To Althea's daughter" was written in tiny italics at the left hand corner of the envelope.

My pulse suddenly increased as I swallowed hard and rushed back into the house.

"Mom , Dad look what I found" I said and they came to stand beside me.

"Where did you find this" dad asked.

"An helicopter was distributing it all around " I replied.

"Open it" He said and I tore the envelope open and brought out a small card in it.

An address was written on it and that was all.

"Address?!!" 

"Don't you guys find this suspicious, it's too much of a coincidence to over look" mom said.

"What's the worse that could happen?!" Dad suddenly replied looking up at her.

"Athena" he called and I looked up at him.

"Go prepare, we'll look into this address first thing tomorrow morning!!".
