"Come in," Jayden replied after the knock was planted on the door.
Beth walked into the room with a tray of food and placed it on the lampstand.
"I cooked and it would be bad if I eat alone and not share with you yet I used your things to prepare the food. I didn't cook much but I will appreciate if you have a taste," she said with a smile.
"I'm not that hungry, I ate at an eatery on my way home," he told her.
"The more reason why I served just a small portion of the food. I knew you must have planned yourself, just have a taste please," she pleaded.
"If that will make you happy," he shrugged and took the tray.
"I will just wait here till you are done, I will wash the plates before I go," she sat at the far end of the bed away from him.
He enjoyed the delicious food and afterwards he drank the juice. It didn't take long before he started feeling unusual.
He didn't understand where the unusual heat in the room came from, his self control has always been intact that even though he loved Ariel so much and she had this sexy and an undeniable body he never went far with her and respected her decision but this time he was slowly losing his sanity.
"How was the food?" She asked with a smile.
"Did you put anything in this food?"
"No, with the love I have for you, I can't harm you. I have always loved you but I was scared because of Ariel," she replied a different thing standing up.
As she stood up her dress slipped down leaving her half naked making his mind go blank.
After the argument they had about the food remains, Ariel slept on the couch and he used the bed.
Damian threw a pillow at her to wake up quite early and she just swallowed the lumpsum and went to prepare to leave.
The journey to the mansion was long though he drove at a high speed. They were welcomed by the maids who bowed and greeted her but all she did was to force a smile which faded awag when she spotted a lady dressed in a short revealing dress seated comfortably on the seat like she owned the home with a glass of juice and a fashion magazine.
"Meet me in my room now," Damian ordered taking the stairs as the lady was left scorning Ariel with her eyes from head to toe.
Her eyes were piercing through Ariel and if eyes could kill then she would have earned the title the late quite early.
She bumped into her, catwalking up the stairs.
"Ma'am your bags were sent and I put them in the guest room, that is where the master said we should put them, can I show you the way?" One of the maids disrupted her shocked moments and she nodded.
She headed the way as Ariel followed her, what she needed right now was her phone to call Jayden and think about other things later.
As the girl opened the room, Ariel was wowed. Everything in the room screamed money and looking at the king sized bed she wasn't sure if she would be waking up early anymore.
Everything was inside and actually the room was the same size as their house. If not for the fact that her mom wronged her, she would have called her to come and stay with her in the room after all the bed could fit six people.
"This is your room, my name is Fiona and I'm your personal maid if you need anything, let me know. I haven't arranged the room as I didn't know how you wanted it, have some rest then I will come back and arrange while you watch,"
"Nice meeting you Fiona, I'm Ariel, I will sleep later, you can come in," She ushered her in.
"In my bag, did you see my phone?" She asked closing the door behind her and Fiona nodded.
"You can arrange anyhow you feel like I have no problem, I just have to make a call,"
"Ok no problem. You are beautiful and I love your hair so long, how do you do it?"
"Thank you, I don't do anything extraordinary, I treat it though but it's more of natural. You are beautiful to. Hope you don't mind, who is that girl? I don't remember wronging her so I don't understand the attitude,"
"That girl, her name is Ivy. I can't call it relationship because young master always calls her anytime he wants a woman and she is in a relationship with the young master. She thought she was going to get married yesterday and really did things to us but thank God somebody else got married. We won't have survived. What she has against you is hate at first sight so don't mind her," Fiona responded.
"Wow this is tricky. They can go on with their relationship, I need to talk to my boyfriend friend. Since you are my personal maid, you can be my friend, right?"
"Ofcourse, I like beautiful friend's,"
"Just a warning, I can be a handful sometime,"
"It's fine let me get you your phone," Fiona offered going to the closet and handed her the phone.
Ariel thanked her and switched the phone dialing Jayden's number immediately yearning to hear his voice.
"Hey babe. I'm so sorry you couldn't get to me. Are you free now can we talk, I have something very important I need us to discuss. I know we are not supposed to talk about this on phone but you have to hear this from me," she rushed her words nervously.
She really needed to tell him what had happened but was also scared of his reaction making her talk faster but the reply from the other end shocked her.
"Hello," it was a woman's voice, not just any woman but Beth's voice.
She has been with Beth long enough to notice her voice from anywhere but that was not the issue, the issue was why she had Jayden's phone and sounded sleepy.
Jayden rarely allows anybody to be with his phone except Ariel so what happened, was she missing something.
"He is asleep, can you call back later," Beth added after a moment of silent.
"Excuse me, Beth what are you doing with his phone?" She questioned.
"Ariel you got married yesterday just enjoy your honeymoon and allow Jayden rest, it has been a long night,"
Something was really wrong, this was not Beth, there must be a demon speaking in her.
"Beth I don't know what you are doing with Jayden's phone at this time but please hand it to him. I really need to talk to him,"
Beth chuckled.
"You don't believe me do you. To prove what I said earlier give me a minute I send you some back up photos," Beth hanged up and Ariel stared into space.
Fiona noticed the change of mood and decided to wait till for a few minutes before she asks a question.
Ariel's phone beeped and she opened the photos of Beth and Jayden together in bed alongside a video of them having sex.
She felt his heart break into pieces and the phone fell on the ground tears running down her cheeks like an open tap.
The pain, agony, heartbreak, disappointment and betrayal was too much to bare that she let out an eardeafening scream.
"Are you okay? What happened?" Fiona rushed to her asking her questions.
Ariel slowly dropped on the ground in tears as the video kept on replaying in her mind. Fiona sat next to her and pulled her in a hug.
When Damian walked into his room he paced around waiting for Ivy to come in.
"What do you want in my house?" He yelled immediately she closed the door behind her.
"I'm the one supposed to get angry at you for marrying someone else yet we are in a relationship and instead of you giving me an explanation, you are telling at me? Who does that? I'm your girlfriend for crying out loud," she yelled back and she chuckled.
"You are my what? You are in a relationship with me yet I'm not aware? From the started I told you no flings attatche but you kept on coming back. I want you out of my house and this is not a toilet you come and leave anyhow you please. You come only with invitation. So leave,"
"You are throwing me out because of that thing?"
"Don't call her names nor compare yourself to her, you two are in totally different classes. Le...," his statement was cut short by the scream from the other room and he walked out immediately.
She didn't have a choice but to go after him. Getting into the room other maids were already there to see what had happened.
"Fiona what happened here?" Damian asked standing at the door watching the two women on the ground.
"I don't know sir, she talked to someone on the phone then watched something after the call and screamed. She hasn't spoken since," Fiona replied.
He walked to the phone and picked it but the screen was already in pieces, he couldn't know what she watched.
"All of you can leave," he ordered everyone in the room to leave and they all left except for Ivy who remained glued closed to the door.
"I guess you are not deaf, you are part of the people I want to leave,"
"Excuse me,"
"Ivy you know I hate to repeat myself and you won't want me to lose my temper. Leave this house because if I leave this room abd meet you still here, you won't like what I will do to you,"
Ivy walked out and he went to the door closing it, then sat next to her resting his back on the bed.
"What happened?" he asked in a low calm voice like he was talking to a little baby.
"Im sorry for interrupting your wonderful time, it won't happen again. You should have chased her out," she replied in tears.
"It doesn't answer my question in any way,"
"I will be fine, all men are the same after all,"
"Your boyfriend, what did he do?" Damian questioned.
It was not the first time he is hearing such a statement and he didn't need a seer to tell him it was boyfriend stuff.
"He slept with my best friend last night," she broke down again a fresh roll of tears coming out.
He really didn't know how to help her so he just pulled her into a hug, forgetting they had a heated argument yesterday and agreed to never cross each other's paths.P
"I'm sorry for yesterday," Ariel apologized standing at the door but he didn't utter a word, he headed to the bathroom instead. "Back to normal," she muttered sitting on the bed.Yesterday he was so calm, kind and gentle that she almost mistook him for someone else. He took care of her and stayed with her at a hard time. He walked from the bathroom and sat next to her. "Whatever I did for you yesterday doesn't mean anything, I guess you still know what we talked about yesterday in the morning," he spoke and she nodded. There was no way she was going to forget they are to stay in their own lane. She got up and walked out. Her heart was still aching and she didn't have the appetite to have breakfast so she locked herself up in her bedroom crying. After preparing himself, Denzel left to sort out some matters and came back after two hours. As he was about to take the stairs, the still set table caught his attention. Breakfast had been set for Ariel and he expected to mee
It was dark but the lights in the compound somehow covered everything up. She would be lying if she said didn't have fun because she had fun. After going round the market, they finally got what she was looking. With Fiona everything is worth the risk, they decided to the park to have fun had some ice creams then went to an eatery to have a nice meal.It has been long since she came to the eatery but it was the best eatery while she was growing up and will still be the best not forgetting the cheap price. Fiona enjoyed the meal that they lost track of time. Both of them were laughing remembering what happened in the eatery when they got into the house but Fiona smile faded off immediately. "Where are you coming from at this time?" Damian's cold voice made them stop on their track and Fiona hid behind Ariel. "From the market and it's only eight not that late," Ariel shrugged. He got up and took the stairs not uttering a word. Nora and Lena whispered to themselves both s
Not being able to hold herself she got up. "I'm sorry but I'm not feeling so fine, please excuse me," she bowed and slipped through the door as fast as she could.Thankfully she saw the bathrooms at the far end, she touched her stomach and started walking towards the bathroom. "Since everything is done and we have reached an agreement, the meeting is over, excuse me," Damian got up and rushed after her. "He ran to her and got there before she reached the bathroom," "Use that," he handed her his jacket. "Why?" "You are on your menstrual and technically you have stains on your dress," he said bluntly. "What! I'm so sorry for embarrassing you. Go back to the meeting, I will be fine," "I'll take you home," "No, I have to go to the mall," she winced in pain. With each passing minute, the pain increased and she nolonger had the energy to stand. "Sure, let's go," he helped her to the elevator and she didn't put up a fight, she didn
The clouds were dark, the wind was too much not talking of the cold but he wasn't back. Ariel kept on looking through the window if his car was coming in that she forgot her pain, then rain started to fall adding to her worries. She wore her slippers and headed downstairs, maybe she can get a way of finding him on phone. If not for anything, the fact that he has been treating her well made her worried about him. Everyone was asleep so she sat on the couch and picked the remote. It was almost midnight and the rain had reduced when she heard a car enter the compound and she yawned getting up from the couch, she was so tired and needed rest to help with her cramps. She headed to the door and opened just as he was looking for his keys. He was soaked with water that the water was dropping from his clothes. "Welcome," she said stepping aside for him to come in and he just nodded. Breakfast was brought to his room and they both had breakfast there even though she didn't eat freely, she quite of felt a bit safe with this side of him. "It's getting late, you should go to work already," she urged putting together the dishes to take them to the kitchen. "I'm not going to work, are you feeling strong? I want to take you somewhere," "I don't mean to be rude to you but did your fever get into your head?" She questioned. If the sickness got into his head then he needs urgent medical attention before he loses his mind. "Meaning?" "You want to take me out, it sounds like a sentence in a soap opera right? What if we get there then you remember we are to stay in our lanes?" She arched her brows and he sighed.
