We had hit the woods in search of Elizabeth even if we had come with an unexpected she-wolf. Miley had insisted that she was going to tag along even if I had tried to stop her.

Miley, inferred and stubborn as ever, walked beside me with a fierce devotion in her eyes. Despite my attempts to dissuade her from joining us, she had insisted on coming along.

There was no point in arguing further; Miley had always been headstrong and fiercely independent.

I glanced at her briefly, taking in her features illuminated by the sunlight filtering through the trees. Her golden hair cascaded down her shoulders, and her emerald eyes sparkled with excitement.

The echoes of our footsteps bounced off the trees, creating an eerie ambiance. Every snap of a twig made us pause, our senses heightened, as we listened for any sign of Elizabeth. It felt like an eternity as we pushed forward, the anticipation growing with every step.

"So, does she know everything about you?" Miley broke the silence.
