THIRD PERSON POV

Fiona and Adele remained still and silent, their hearts pounding in their chests as the footsteps approached.

Shadows danced on the walls of the alley as their pursuer grew nearer. They exchanged a tense glance, mentally preparing themselves for a possible confrontation.

As the figure turned into the alley, Fiona's breath caught in her throat. It was just an old man.

He shuffled along, his hunched figure casting long shadows in the dimly lit alley. Fiona and Adele relaxed their tense postures, realizing that their initial fear had been unfounded.

The old man seemed oblivious to their presence, his focus on his own path.

Fiona let out a sigh of relief, her body relaxing from the tensed atmosphere a few minutes ago. She glanced at Adele, who returned a reassuring smile.

They had been on edge for far too long, constantly looking over their shoulders since they had stumbled into this unfamiliar part of Pack.
