CHAPTER 88

THIRD PERSON POV

The griffin lunged at Elizabeth, its sharp beak aimed at her. With a quick reflex, she dove to the side, narrowly escaping the creature's attack.

As she rolled onto the ground, she spotted a fallen tree branch nearby. Gripping it tightly, she swung it at the griffin, hoping to ward it off and buy some time.

The branch struck the griffin's wing, causing it to screech in pain and momentarily lose balance. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Elizabeth scrambled to her feet and sprinted towards Elliot, who was still struggling to restrain the other griffin.

Elliot held onto the first griffin, using every ounce of strength to maintain his grip.

He knew that if he let go, both he and Elizabeth would be in grave danger. Sweat trickled down his forehead as he struggled to maintain his composure and keep the griffin under control.
