"Excuse me?" Davion asked, straightening himself from his seat. I swallowed when I realised that something was about to go down and it didn't look pleasant. This was exactly how Davion reacted the other time at the meeting when the lady called me a slut in presence of everyone. And he didn't think twice before barging into their company to give her a piece of his mind which later led to them firing her. Even I was scared of him when he was like this, in this particular mood.

"What did you just say to her?" He repeated.

"You don't have to be upset Davion." The man in question twirled his pen around his fingers as he spoke. "I didn't insult her. I only stated a fact. It had been circulating all over the internet and I only brought his to your knowledge."
