"Are you still working?" Mike ask as he made his way into my office. I raised up my head from my desk to look at him. He looked fully arranged with his suitcase on one hand while the other hand held onto the handle of the door for support.

"Yes I am. I still need to finish up some work on my desk. And judging by how things went at the meeting earlier I don't think it will be wise for me to go home now." I need down my fears and worries to him and he sympathised with me.

"Would you like me to wait for you so that I can give you a ride to your house later?" He inquired as his gaze pinned me down.

"I don't want to impose on you Mike. Besides don't you have other things to do at home. I don't want you missing out on anything just because you have chosen to wait for me."

"Don't be such a cry baby. I'm the one asking you, am I not? A simple yes or no would do."

I breathed out heavily. "Well if you insist then I'm not stopping you."
