Chapter Thirty-One: A New Player

SARA'S POV

Ever since my discussion with Finn, Silas' closest friend, I decided to not bother myself about Silas again. He will be fine wherever he is. He will find a way to get himself out of this mess. I just hope and pray.

One month turned to two months and I have not heard from him. Even Father was now getting worried. He has sent quite a number of wolves to search for him but it was as though he has disappeared.

"Logan, you are the chief of the wolf's guard. Where did you say he went to?"

I overheard father speak to Logan one time.

"I'm sorry, my Alpha. He said that he needed some time off. He had some personal matters to settle and I just figured that he will not be off for so long. Please, forgive me."

He kept on bowing and apologizing.

"This is arrant nonsense."

Father fumed and went away. If I did not know my father well, I'd think that he really liked Silas. This now proves that he did not banish Silas or do anything bad to him.
