SILAS POV

"I need to leave here, Mark."

I spoke to the sage after one week.

"What? Why? You have not completed your task."

He said.

"I have been in this tower for over six weeks. I need to stretch my legs. I have consumed more than a hundred materials too. I'm getting overwhelmed with all this. Let me go."

It sounded as though I was begging him.

"It's okay then. We will have a day of break and we will come back the next day."

He said.

It wasn't near enough, but I will take it.

We left the place and I could appreciate the little rays of sun that was able to filter into the forest. I was already becoming accustomed to this place.

"Where is Saul at?"

I asked.

"He must be with the mages. The ones that are more interested in combat than the dark arts."

Mark replied.

"I want to see him."

I said to him,

"I don't think it's a good idea. You need to complete your training."

He advised.

"I need to see him."

I stressed further.

We left for where Saul was.

I saw him having a combat lesson with so

SARA'S POVEver since my discussion with Finn, Silas' closest friend, I decided to not bother myself about Silas again. He will be fine wherever he is. He will find a way to get himself out of this mess. I just hope and pray. One month turned to two months and I have not heard from him. Even Father was now getting worried. He has sent quite a number of wolves to search for him but it was as though he has disappeared. "Logan, you are the chief of the wolf's guard. Where did you say he went to?"I overheard father speak to Logan one time."I'm sorry, my Alpha. He said that he needed some time off. He had some personal matters to settle and I just figured that he will not be off for so long. Please, forgive me."He kept on bowing and apologizing."This is arrant nonsense."Father fumed and went away. If I did not know my father well, I'd think that he really liked Silas. This now proves that he did not banish Silas or do anything bad to him."Silas, wherever you are, please make sure yo

She adjusted her glasses and said to the other Lunas she was having the meeting with."Can you be so kind to excuse me? We will reschedule this meeting to another appropriate time. They bowed down and they left the meeting.Mother waited for the last one f them to leave at an appreciable distance before she poured her wrath upon me."What the heck is wrong with you? Don't you have a sense of character? Haven't I trained you enough to know how to courtesy?"She snapped at me."Luna Veronica, I don't care about what you have taught me before now, but I can't have this anymore."I replied."And what has made you so worked up like this?"She asked, feigning con

The fire was too much and I can't imagine how anyycan survive this."Damon!"I shouted. I was scared that I'd lose him. When I later met with them and they told me their plan, like I said to you, I did not like the plan. So, in order for them to get me involved, they promised me the inheritance of the Moon Pack Kingdom when Alpha King Zemo is gone and anything that I wanted at the moment. I told them that it was not necessary but I will love the chance to meet you first. That is why I came here. So, when I met you, I didn't think that I'll need a prize after I met with you. You had already caught my heart, you know? But now that we have an issue, I want to invoke the word that you have to me when we met, Luna Veronica."He said, looking straight to her eyes. SILAS' POVSome weeks ago…I have begun to have my mage training with Heracles and it has really been proving worth it. Because I am not unfamiliar with the training of a mage, I was able to pick on some things quickly. Soon enough, I began to control the elements of certain things. I could change the weather and I could cause the rain to fall in the winter or snow to fall in the springtime. It was always an interesting time during practice.I also did not let my warrior training go dormant because of this. I honed my skills to be a better swordsman and skilled warrior. Others, including Saul wondered why I was pushing myself to be this skilled if we are always going to end up in here. But I do not plan on staying here. I was going to find a way to leave.Lucien came over to me one day after I have learned the art of levitation. "I see you are doing well."He commented."Well, thank you I guess…"I did not know exactly what to say."You have been training with Heracles for over a mon

Why are you bent on staying here again? Don't you desire your freedom? Has your quest for vengeance become useless to you? I don't think I can recognise you again. Where is the Silas that I know who is decisive and can think ahead of the plan? Where is…?""Saul!"I shouted to get him to stop ranting."Will you keep quiet and come over here to see what I'm doing?"I said to him. When he came over to see my desk, his eyes brightened up."You're planning our escape?"He was excited this time."I told you that I'd get us out. SILAS'S POVIt was when we got closer to the cave that I told him the plan."I have created a silencing spell around the cave so that you can do what you want to do without any noise."I said."What am I going to do?"He asked."You will know when we get there."I answered, as we cleared the path before us and we appeared before the cave. There were guards on high alert there already."Stop there!"One of them shouted."This is what you needed my fist for?"He asked."They are a piece of cake. You can handle them."I responded. We moved closer and one of the mages picked up the horn and sounded it."Don't bother about it, brother."I told the mage that blew the horn."I believe you are familiar with Guru Nanak's spell?"I asked him."The silencing spell."He muttered."I'm glad you know it. So, the message you have just sent can't go beyond my back."I said."We don't need any backup! We will handle both of you ourselves. It's four of us to two of you. You are totally outnumbered."An

SILAS'S POV I was startled to see my twin in the Moon Pack kingdom. Beyond all reason, he should not be here.“Hello, brother. Do you miss me?”Saul repeated.“Oh, no! This is not real. I must be dreaming like before. This must be a bad bad dream.”I said, while holding my head as if trying to come out of an hallucination but I somehow, I know that this is different. This is real.“Oh, I promise you brother. This is not a dream. So, tell me. How have you been?”He asked me.“What are you doing here, Saul? Why did you have to kill these people?”I demanded him.“You know, let me give you a short background story so that maybe you will understand why I did what I did.”He started, even as he held our father hostage. I couldn't move an inch because I know that Saul must have gotten so powerful to be able to take down all these wolves all on his own. I can't trust myself to be able to rescue father before it was too late. I had no other choice than to indulge him.“When I got out of the

The curse made me stronger and faster. Although I was out of control, but I found my way around it. I got to be better than I was father. And do you know why? It's because one day I was going to face you. And I was going to tell you that you are the reason why I am like this.”I said to him.“I want to ask you a question, son. Where is Saul? Where is your twin? Did he also agree to this madness?”He asked. “That is not your concern now. Your own concern should be how you are going die well.”I responded.Suddenly the door opened and I rushed to father's said and held him by the neck. Before he could move himself, I cautioned him.“There's a pin I'm holding close to your neck. It's called the devil's pin. I'm sure that you have heard of it before, right? He got frustrated and turned to me.“Beta Silas, when someone does not respond to you, it clearly means that they want to have nothing to do with you.”He said to me, angrily.“I know that, but J really need to confirm something with you.”I said to him. It was obvious that I was not going to let him rest until I have spoken my mind to him, so he allowed me to talk.“What is it?”He asked me.“For how long was I gone for?”The expression on his face showed that he really think that there was something wrong with him.“What is wrong with you?”He asked me.“Would you believe me if I told you that I have no idea how long I was gone for? SARA'S POV “So, what do you want to do? Is he going to be your new heir? Or will you just leave him be?”I asked my father as I closed my eyes. I don't even know what to think anymore.“I really do not know. I am scared.”He responded to me. I obviously did not expect that answer from him.“Well, that's the first.”I commented.“Yea.”My father responded. I shifted my gaze back to him.“I want to ask you a sincere question.”“I’m all ears.”“How long have you known that Silas was your son? And is that the reason why you were hell bent on trying to separate us from the onset?”When I asked the question, he shifted his body to face me too. I want to say that this is the closest time I have ever being intimate with my father. I can feel that he can tell me absolutely anything that I ask of him tonight with very little resistance.“I have never known or had the slightest idea that Silas was my son up until the day we got attacked by that creature. • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter Seventy-four: Out of Coma

SARA'S POV As I moved closer to the infirmary and I was about to enter the entrance, I was accosted by one of the nurses that worked there. She looked very frantic and apprehensive. “What is it, Jane? I thought I asked you not to leave the Alpha's side for a minute. Why are you here?”I demanded from her. “I'm sorry, my princess, but you said that I should not leave the Alpha unless it is an emergency and I'm afraid this is an emergency.”She replied. I did not wait for her to complete her statement. I just pushed her aside and walked to the room where my father was staying and I could not help but be worried about what I would find there. The last time I left his side, there was almost no change in his condition at all and he had slipped back into coma after muttering Silas' name several times. What if he has given up the ghost? There will be a lot of unanswered questions. When I got to the room, instead of seeing an empty bed or father being covered in sheets, I saw him awake and

  • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter seventy three: My wolf and I

SILAS'S POV It felt so refreshing to always have a voice that you can communicate with back and forth. A voice that, although is quite aggressive, but will always have your best interest at heart. I will no longer deal with any form of quietness again. It felt oddly peaceful too. But I will get used to it as soon as possible.I looked around the springs of Zadia. The fountain where I drank from said that I would be hallucinating for days, so if this is real and I'm out of the hallucination phase, this would literally mean that I have spent way longer time than I intended to spend here. I needed to catch up.“Are you ready, wolf? I think I need to give you a name, don't you think?”I asked him.“Whatever you say.”“What kind of name do I give you..?”I was thinking, then I remembered the colour of my wolf. I loved how dark and shinny he was when I met him in the void. I know that I just had to give him a unique name. And I think I have just found the name!“I know what I will give you

  • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter Seventy two: The battle between selves

SILAS'S POV I stood there, starring at my own image. A reflection of myself.“Wow! It's just like staring in the mirror.”He sneered at me.“What is the meaning of this?”I asked. “You can't simply move on if you have not defeated me. I am your alter ego. You will need to kill me to gain control. But you know what? Your alter ego has all your strengths and lacks all your weaknesses. Strength, the ability not to hold back, lack of empathy and emotions, I have them all. That is what will always make me stronger than you.”He said, drawing out his sword from the thin air, ready to strike me.“Don't be too sure about that, Silas 2.0. I will do anything to get out of here.”I responded, fashioning out my won sword from the thin air, also ready to strike myself. We looked deeply into each other and we ran towards each other to attack. Our blades struck each other and made a vibrating sound that echoed all round the entire void. The battle between selves has begun. The energy from the blad

  • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter Seventy one: Awakening

SARA'S POV I paced to and fro all day in my bedroom. I had left the infirmary, telling the nurse to keep a close guide on my father as I wanted to take a break. I had hardly left his side for more than two hours since the incident. This is day four already and it looks still the same. I hope Silas comes very soon. But that was not the very bane of my restlessness this afternoon. Bea had gone to school for young and royally wolves so I had time all to myself. The reason for my worry was the last statement father has uttered in his sleep yesterday's evening. He mentioned three names; in which two of them are unfamiliar. He mentioned Althea and Saul with Silas. But I knew that I must have heard of Althea before. It sounded like a name that I must have come across before. Where have I heard that name from?It suddenly clicked to me. There is the story of a brave and young warrior and werewolf that was told in our Luna school. The first female celebrated war hero in the Moon Pack kingdom.

SILAS'S POV“You are not the saviour of the world; you are the saviour of the witches. You are the Hannuk.”Agnes laughter echoed around the void, so did the others that were with her too. This was a very uncomfortable situation, but I will find a way.“So, what now?”I asked her.“Now, we are glad that we lured you here. This will give us the full ground to possess your body and you will be just like a puppet to bring salvation to my own tribe.”They began to laugh hysterically again. They just basked in the laughter that I even began to chuckle too. When they were done, I started my own round of laughter too. This made them all quiet and Agnes looked quite confused. She didn't know what game I was playing. Even I did not know what I was doing at that moment. I just needed to stall to find the right hack.“What are you doing?”Agnes asked me.“Well, I'm laughing. Am I not supposed to laugh at the whole joke that is going on all around?”I asked.“What joke?”She asked.“All I know is
