SILAS' POV

Some weeks ago…

I have begun to have my mage training with Heracles and it has really been proving worth it. Because I am not unfamiliar with the training of a mage, I was able to pick on some things quickly. Soon enough, I began to control the elements of certain things. I could change the weather and I could cause the rain to fall in the winter or snow to fall in the springtime. It was always an interesting time during practice.

I also did not let my warrior training go dormant because of this. I honed my skills to be a better swordsman and skilled warrior. Others, including Saul wondered why I was pushing myself to be this skilled if we are always going to end up in here. But I do not plan on staying here. I was going to find a way to leave.

Lucien came over to me one day after I have learned the art of levitation.

"I see you are doing well."

He commented.

"Well, thank you I guess…"

I did not know exactly what to say.

"You have been training with Heracles for over a mon

Why are you bent on staying here again? Don't you desire your freedom? Has your quest for vengeance become useless to you? I don't think I can recognise you again. Where is the Silas that I know who is decisive and can think ahead of the plan? There were guards on high alert there already."Stop there!"One of them shouted."This is what you needed my fist for?"He asked."They are a piece of cake. You can handle them."I responded. We moved closer and one of the mages picked up the horn and sounded it."Don't bother about it, brother."I told the mage that blew the horn."I believe you are familiar with Guru Nanak's spell?"I asked him."The silencing spell."He muttered."I'm glad you know it. So, the message you have just sent can't go beyond my back."I said."We don't need any backup! We will handle both of you ourselves. It's four of us to two of you. You are totally outnumbered."An

He was very agitated and I'm sure that he is very confused as to why I am so calm when we have been caught already."We do what we do best. We fight!"I responded to my brother.I don't know how it's going to happen, but I'm leaving this goddamn forest today. I'm not spending an extra day here at all. It's over five months that I've stayed here andi can't take it anymore. I just need to get out. I will rather die than lose my freedom to this place."We are not here to fight at all, Silas. We are here to explain whatever stakes like ahead of your journey."Lucien spoke up."You think that I'll listen to whatever jargon that comes out of your mouth?"I sneered."You were the same person that said that you will leave me be, whereas it was all a lie. I have come too far for you to take me back as your prisoner. I will leave here today!"I shouted back, making my desperation known to them."I did n

SILAS'S POVIt took several hours of taking the wrong turns and the right ones to finally find my way back to the road. It has been over five months that I have seen the sun shinning at it's peak. It's been a very long time since the wind slapped my face. It's just been cold and damp in the forest of Koda so it seemed strangely unfamiliar to me.I decided to take a run with my wolf, so I transformed and ran for a while. I haven't even rested since I woke up at the third hour of the day. Everything seemed unnatural and I needed to get back to my usual self.As much as I wanted to forget the events of a few hours, I just could not forget it like that. I have betrayed the one that has trusted me in the whole world. I felt very disappointed in myself, but all I could let myself feel at the moment was just anger.I was angry at everyone including myself. How could I have left Saul alone? I was also angry at my mentor, Lucien. He looked me in the eye and said that even though he has all the

SILAS'S POV I got to the entrance if the gate and I met some familiar faces that are still the same old guards that I knew. They have barely changed but the whole pack has really changed though."Beta, where have you been?"One said."The Alpha has really been looking for you."Another said."Some even thought that you have already left because you thought that Alpha Zemo hates you for letting his daughter get kidnapped by your uncle."There were just myriads of assumptions and thoughts as to why I left and it almost felt good to be back."I'm sorry that I left abruptly. I just had to take care of some matters that required urgency."I said to them.As I was still talking, another guard strolled to our side."Logan, the chief guard wants to see you as soon as possible."He whispered to me.As I wanted to answer him back, that was when I saw her. I know that you can be joking about a lot of things. Please, don't let this be one of those things."I begged in desperation."I'm sorry, Silas. But that is the truth."Finn said.I braced up and composed myself."Well, maybe that's for the better. She'll rather choose a royalty than a common Beta."I said."You will be fine, brother."He said."Can you just please stop calling me brother? You are not my brother."I snapped at him."I'm… I didn't mean to sound that way, but…"He was confused."I'm sorry that I just did that. SILAS'S POVI stood there and stared at them, unable to move or speak. Alpha Zemo must have noticed it, so he spoke up."Oh, I see you have all met."He began."Huh!?"I asked."Silas, meet Damon. Damon is Sara's bethroded and the heir to the throne of the Moon Pack Kingdom. He is going to be the heir apparent when he marries my daughter, his mate."He said.I looked at him and studied him from head to toe. He was very built and thick skinned. His eyes shoned golden yellow and he had very dark hair. He's the typical Alpha that everyone would be dripping for. Across his smug face, he wore a smile as if telling me "I got her and not you, you son of a bitch."He stretch forth his hand to shake me."I have heard a lot about you from the Alpha himself. I even offered to be his guard pending the time of your arrival but he refused vehemently. It's nice to finally see the face behind the name. If I had not gone for my training with the mages, my beast would have been unleashed right here and now and it would have been so destructive. My eyes turned red with rage."I just did what you dared the pack to do and I seem to not be regretting my actions. You do not get to decide which omega we get to fuck with. This is our terrain, we are wolves and we will dominate them. That's how we do it!"He stood tall and faced me, spitting in my face.Evans was sobbing and I stood still, looking at the wolf."You don't know what you have just done. And I will make sure you regret it here and now."I said to him."Oh yeah, bring it on!"He said and he threw his first punch at me.I purposely did not dodge it because I wanted to know if his fist is as loud as his loose mouth. Now that you have faced the truth, my work is now done. I wish you success in your quest.”He said to me and disappeared quickly before I could even protest.“Great! Now, I'm stuck here.”I said, staring around with no idea of what to do at all. I looked all around trying to look for clues, but everything stayed the same. There was nothing that I saw that was different.“I need to keep going anyway. I need to do something.”I said to myself as I moved on. I just kept walking in the endless void. SARA'S POV “I will never let anything happen to you. Not Silas, not the Luna or anyone else. I'm here for you all the way.”I was saying to my own father as I looked at him. I can't believe that I almost absconded with Silas a few weeks ago because I was upset with him. What if something worse had happened to him when we left? Why if Silas was not there to protect him because I was just selfish and wanted him all to myself?“I'm sorry, father. I'm sorry for trying to run away. I don't know what I was thinking.”I said, crying to him. Now to think of it, how much can I even trust Silas? Is that why he changed his behaviour towards me when he first found out that I'm his sister? Or am I just truly imagining things? Is he really my own half brother? If that is true, it has got to be very sickening and any feelings I have for him my be dropped now.“No! He can't be my brother.”I said, decisively. I have really fallen for him too much to believe that he may actually even be my brother. I

SARA'S POV Silas has been gone for two days and all I could do was stay by father's side. The report of his health was still the same. He was still steadily improving, but he didn't show any signs yet. I barely ate and slept because of how worried I was of my father. Yet, all what the Luna did was to handle all the affairs of the Moon Pack kingdom without letting father's subjects know about his condition. Many of them had no reason to suspect anything because this is not the first time she was acting on the behalf of father, so they saw it as one of those days. The Luna had only visited father once, and just for a few minutes and returned back to her chambers instructing them to inform her if there was a change in situation with him.“You are aware that people handle grief differently, right?”Gaius, the head physician mentioned to me after he must have noticed how upset I must have looked at her. I did not respond to him, but just managed to smile. He has no idea of who my mother i

SILAS'S POV The cooling sensation of water woke me up as it splashed on me violently. I woke up, coughing and gasping for air. I looked around me. I was still at the springs of Zadia. I remembered a few things that happened just before I got knocked out cold. I had just seen my brother, Saul. He had gotten out of the forest of Koda and he deemed it fit to pay me a visit.I looked around me. I was tied up to a stake. I struggled a bit, but the effect of the drug was still there. I was not in my full strength at that time. It still a struggle for me to break free from this rope.“Saul!”I called out after him. I got no response.“Where are you?”I insisted, but there was no response. I tried struggling out of it again, but it was too secure for me.“What the fuck do you want from me?”I cried out, frustrated. I began to hear movements from behind my back. I could not fully look behind me, so I did not see him.“Look brother, we can talk about this. Let's talk about this.”I tried to ta

SILAS'S POV For the first time, my eyes glowed like that of a potential Alpha. My chains had snapped open and I turned to a wolf and howled loudly in the forest. Then, Cole came out and clapped his hands followed by the thousand others that went away to see if I could break open the chains.“You see? Now, was that so hard to do?”Cole asked. I did not let him know that it was the first time that my eyes glowed like that of a potential Alpha. I just walked away from him, saying.“Just stay out of my way. I don't want to every see you around again. I know who I am and I am not what you or any stupid book tell or foresee about me at all.”I said to him. It was like a miracle that I still very much kept my cool and did not make anyone drop dead. It looked a bit disappointing to them, but they had to let go.“Come back to us any time and any day. Defeat the nemesis and come back for your army and destiny.”Cole shouted after me. I was still within the earshot range of a super hearing wolf

  • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter Sixty-four: The dark one

SILAS'S POV “Welcome, the chosen one. We have been waiting for you for centuries. Where have you been all these while?”Their leader announced and they all cheered as though I was their god. I looked at them and I noticed that they looked more like fanatics than just regular creatures.“What the fuck are you talking about? And who the fuck are you guys?”I queried him.“My name is Cole and we are the followers of the dark one and we have waited for centuries for you to appear before us.”Their leader introduced and they continued making those irritating chants again that I was bewildered. I thought centaurs are meant to be powerfully intelligent? These ones look so incredibly stupid.“So, if you say that I am that dark one that you are imagining in your minds, why do you have me drugged and tied to a tree? Why am I not free?”I asked Cole.He walked up closer to me as if he wanted to whisper.“We are sorry for the I'll treatment that we gave you. We are only protecting you and also p

SILAS'S POV “Let's bring back our father safely.”Those were Sara's last words before she closed the door to the exit of the secret passage to the outskirts of the Moon pack kingdom. I couldn't just get it off of my mind as I walked down the path. It was not just Sara's words that convinced me, it was her looks. She already knows that I am the son of her father. What does it now mean to us? Does that mean that we are now siblings? Enemies? Why has she not asked me what I want if she knows who I am? I am convinced beyond reasoning that she knows who I am.I brought out the book that shows the map leading to the springs of Zadia. I would need to avoid the main path for hours so that I will not run into the wolves of the Moon pack that Luna Veronica might send my way. J must be very quick, quiet and vigilante. I also just know how to keep my mind to be very less imaginative so as not to mistakenly use my powers to set the forest on fire.As I mentioned fire in my mind, sparks of fire sh

SILAS'S POV I paced around my chambers. It has been over three days that father has been in a comatose state. There has been a slow, but steady improvement in the Alpha's health. The poison was a very lethal one, so it is taking a while for his body to reject it. What will then happen when he wakes up and realises that I have been his son all the while? Will he banish me like he did my mother or will he have me executed? As much as I'm worried about that, I'm also worried about my own self. It has been days since my inner beast was unleashed and the darkness of the orb came out too, I need to find a way to keep it at bay again. I need to find the springs of Zadia again. It's only a few days to winter and I have been kept on a strict surveillance. How will I be able to get out of the kingdom without being stopped or followed? I don't know how to do it at all.The only way I can do that is by taking the secret tunnel in the Alpha's chambers. It was the same one that Saul and I used to

SARA'S POV I stood there, as I watched as Silas left. A few seconds ago, he whispered some things to my ear tat got me puzzled.“I want you to listen to me closely. I do not trust anyone here. Some people would have gotten wind of your father's condition and will try to murder him. But as long as that pendant is around his neck, he will be fine. Do not let anyone remove it from his neck and do not take your eyes away from him. Don't let anyone know about this too. I will be back for you.”After delivering the message to me, he left me. I did not know how to react to what I had just heard. Is anyone trying to kill my father? If yes, why would they want to? I recovered after a few minutes and resumed to sit by my father and watch him all through.“Why don't you take some rest? We have got it from here?”One of the physicians encouraged me, but I will not let that happen. Not on my watch.“I'm okay here. I'll be okay, by watching my father recover.”I responded.“I'm just saying that i
