Chapter Forty: Back to the Dungeon

SILAS'S POV

It took several hours of taking the wrong turns and the right ones to finally find my way back to the road. It has been over five months that I have seen the sun shinning at it's peak. It's been a very long time since the wind slapped my face. It's just been cold and damp in the forest of Koda so it seemed strangely unfamiliar to me.

I decided to take a run with my wolf, so I transformed and ran for a while. I haven't even rested since I woke up at the third hour of the day. Everything seemed unnatural and I needed to get back to my usual self.

As much as I wanted to forget the events of a few hours, I just could not forget it like that. I have betrayed the one that has trusted me in the whole world. I felt very disappointed in myself, but all I could let myself feel at the moment was just anger.
