Elsa covered her mouth to stifle her gasp as she stepped back, tears burned in her eyes, she couldn't believe it.

There was her husband, entangled in a passionate embrace with her sister, Stella.

Two of the closest people in her life had chosen to betray her without a care in the world.

How long had this been going on? Had they always been doing this behind her back, had she been the fool all this time?

Stella was her baby sister and she loved her a lot, she always treated her nicely.

And as for Gabriel, she had showed him love, she had loved him with all her heart.

When he had asked her to leave her career to marry her and be his wife, she had agreed without question. When he had asked her to invest her savings into his income, she had also agreed as well. All because of the love she had for him.

And as for Stella, when she had come to Elsa, asking for help with her dream of being an actress, she had agreed whole heartedly.

She had taught her everything she knew about acting, showed her the ropes, begged Gabriel to sign her to his agency.

She had given her all to these two and this was how they repaid her.

She stepped closer to the door, they still hadn't noticed her yet.

"Gabriel, when are you divorcing her?" Stella asked him.

"soon my love, just have a little patience."

"But that's what you have been saying. When will you do it. I don't want to be your secret anymore." she told him.

"I just need the right time to tell her." Gabriel pleaded with her.

"or could it be you are still in love with her?" Stella asked.

"Hell no, how can that be. You are the only one I love, you know that."

"Then divorce her or you and I are done."

"Stella, calm down, I need to set a trap for her that can justify me divorcing her. If I just divorce her like that, she can contest it in court. And what if she is given half of my wealth?" he asked her.

"Then do so fast, I can't wait for her to be out of your life"

"She will be out of my life soon, the divorce letter has already been printed and signed, I showed them to you, I just need an opportunity to give it to her."

"ok, then baby, I will wait." she giggled.

She had heard enough, she stepped back and left.

She had come to surprise Stella at her apartment, it was her birthday. Instead she had been the one surprised.

Elsa controlled her self and left the apartments as silently as she had arrived.

On the ride back home, she thought about everything that she had ignored previously which suddenly made sense to her.

How Stella and Gabriel had grown closer and she took over the role of mediator in their marriage.

She hadn't seen anything wrong with it until now.

She got to the house and went straight to Gabriel's study. He kept all his important documents there.

She checked all the drawers of his table until she found what she was looking for.

There it was, the divorce paper. She laughed through her tears, Gabriel was really going to divorce her. He had already even signed it.

She took a photo of it and kept it back in the drawer.

She went out again, this time, she was going to meet someone who could help her make sense of what was going on in her life.

"who are you here to see?" the secretary asked her .

"June"

"and who should I say is here to meet her?" she questioned further.

Elsa was bitterly amused. Once upon a time, nobody would have asked her who she was.

"Elsa Lockwood" she replied.

"Do you have an appointment?" the secretary asked Elsa again, without any hint of recognition in her face.

"No, I don't"

"well, I will only be able to send you in after all her appointments have seen her. But I will notify her about your presence.Will you be able to wait?"

"Yes, I can wait" Elsa assured her.

Elsa sat down in the lobby to wait.

The receptionist came to meet her after some minutes.

"She will see you now." she told Elsa.

Elsa looked around the lobby in confusion. The other people were still there.

"But you said I would only be able to see her after everyone left" Elsa reminded her of her earlier words.

"I know but as soon as I informed her you were around, she told me to send you in immediately."

Elsa smiled, at least someone still thought she was important in this world.

She nodded and went to the office with the receptionist.

She took a deep breath before opening the door and going inside.

And she was there face to face with her best friend.

"Hi June" she managed to say.

"Hello Elsa" she replied in a cool voice.

"how have you been?"

"Why are you here Elsa? I have other people to attend to. Just cut to the chase."

Once upon a time, when she was still Elsa, the most popular actress and celebrity. June had been at her side as her manager.

The last time Elsa had seen June was at her wedding, when she had told her she was making a mistake.

It turned out that she was right. Elsa couldn't control her emotions anymore, she burst into tears.

June stood up and hurried to her side immediately.

"Oh, Elsa, what's wrong?" she asked in a soft voice as she helped her sit on the sofa and comforted her.

"You...you were right all this time." Elsa managed to say in between her sobs.

"Right about what?"

Elsa looked at her. "Right about my marriage to Gabriel being a mistake, I should have never married him."

"Tell me everything."

Elsa told her everything about all the problems she had been having in the marriage and how she had caught him cheating on her and the divorce paper she had found.

She showed her the photo she had snapped earlier of the divorce paper.
