Dang it. I dozed off.

I'd planned to sit in front of Elijah until he gave up and talked to me. But, having to stay up all night last night, I couldn't keep my eyes opened anymore.

By the time I startled awake, Elijah and Cane were no longer there.

I let out a sigh as I leaned back in to the chair.

"What are you doing here?" I heard Cilvia's voice, and I looked towards the door to see her leaning her shoulder against the door frame.

I stretched my arms over my head to relax my tight muscles, and rolled my head from side to side.

Cilvia walked over to the desk and looked down at me.

I was still mad at the woman for what happened the previous day. I looked away from her and picked up my notebook and pen, readying myself to leave the study and sulk for the rest of the day.

"Oh come on, you're not still upset, are you?" She asked with a chuckle.

I glared at Cilvia, wanting to tell her off. I watched as she dropped her eyes to my scarf.

"How can you wear a scar and a hoody at the same time?
