chapter 74

I angrily moved the brush across the canvas, painting some random lines as I hoped to see a different image in it in order to save a good canvas from going to waste.

"What's got you this angry?" I heard Cilvia's voice, and I turned my head around to look at her over my right shoulder.

"You never sent me a text, so I assumed you were still waiting for Elijah. What happened today?" She asked.

Letting out a sigh, I shrugged both of my shoulders and turned back to the canvas.

"So, Elijah didn't let you in again?" She asked, to which I shook my head.

Cilvia walked closer to me and watched as I painted.

"Don't worry. He'll come around soon enough." Cilvia commented.

My hand stopped moving at her words. Would it matter if he comes around after taking all of his time to hurt me with his silence and ignorance?

I dropped my paint brush in to the tall cup with water filled half way in it, and walked over to the chair by the window.
