117: Short trip

"Hello," Miranda said, and Larry observed that she didn't call him "babe."

"Good morning, babe. Where are you?" Larry asked, to which Miranda frowned and replied, "I'm going somewhere."

"Where?" he asked her, and she replied, "It's confidential. Business matters. Can we discuss it when I return?"

"Hmmm," Larry hummed and asked, "When will you be back?"

"Saturday."

"What!" Larry gasped, suspecting that Miranda was lying to him. "Where exactly is this business matter ongoing that you fail to inform me about it? Babe, I don't like it when you keep your business away from me," Larry complained.

"I'm sorry," Miranda told him.

"It's okay, you don't have to apologize for it. Only that I would have loved to follow you there. You know I don't like to keep my distance from you," he said.

"I'm aware," she replied, and there was silence on the call.

"Take care of yourself, babe, and when you get there, give me a phone call," he said, to which she responded, "Okay, goodbye."
