A Trip To Prison

My hands held the steering wheel as I drove us to the prison. It was my first time going there so I used a GPS. Serenity sat in the seat next to me, she looked like she was lost in thought as she stared out the window.

It was her car that I was using. She insisted that I should be the one to drive, saying that she was not a very good driver. She may have been right or she just wanted me to do the driving because it was a long drive.

The windows were down and the wind blew in the car, causing my hair to be blown back. I kept my eyes on the road while my mind went so many miles per hour trying to figure out what to do or what Harper or her mom would say to us.

My stomach was crying for food, reminding me that I skipped breakfast. But right now, food was the last thing on my mind.

I did not even know how much time I had to clean this Jacob mess before Zayn and the others would come back. Zayn had told me that he could come back any day from now and that had me on edge.
