There's one thing I noticed about Lily. Her behavior doesn't match who she is. She always does things recklessly. Fight with anyone who gets on her nerves and find it normal. The very mistake I made right from the start was not doing my research first before getting into the contract with her. I know I needed to pass through Hilda and Marcus's betrayal which was why I rushed into things. Lily isn't my type. I want a woman that is pretty and has a nice body. And a good sense of reasoning. Lily doesn't tick the boxes. Maybe she ticked one. She has a lovely hair. And a nice smile.

Wait....How did I get here? I only saw her smile twice. Funny enough, it was when she was sleeping. Maybe she was having a nice dream.

I could see the way her cheeks flushed last night when I caged her in between my arms. I knew then that I had affected her. The spitfire Lily was muted in my cage. I found myself chuckling recalling how she went over to my desk instead of her desk.

The empty stool next t
