Lily

No matter how much I tried to think about what Ryker said two days ago, I couldn't get what he meant by his words. Wasn't he the same person who said I'm crazy? Why do I feel like his words were hinting at something that I don't want anyone to know about me? The pain I always masked up by acting all brave. Even Harry doesn't know how much effort I put into turning us into who we are now. But he doesn't care. All he cares about is getting me in trouble. If Ryker hadn't interfered the other night, I would have broken Harry's arms. He had no reason to lie about Ryker. Someone he doesn't know that much for him to go as much as to take money from other people.

The office door was pushed open and Ryker walked in. He dropped a brown paper bag on my desk. "What's this?" I asked eyeing the bag.

"Your lunch." His reply was short and a bit off too. First Ryker had never gotten me lunch at work. Second, it was my first time seeing a solemn expression on his face or should I say an expression
