Suspicion

AUTHOR'S POV

At the crow of the roosters, Damien finally finished working. it was morning already. He yawned loudly, removed his glasses, rubbed his eyes, and proceeded to sip the almost cold coffee.

He dragged his feet tiredly to his room, he needed to sleep. He had kept watch over Zeta when she fainted that if he didn't close his eyes now, he would be taken to the hospital.

Zeta woke up at the sound of the door opening, but she pretended to still be asleep.

Damien let out another big fat yawn, as he strode to the bed, dusted his feet, and climbed into bed. Not bothering to take a shower, he went out like a light.

Zeta was unable to sleep, due to hunger pangs, and her tummy ached, so she decided to prepare a fast meal to eat. It was still early. Hopefully, she wouldn't bump into any of her rivals.

This was her thought until she heard the sound of the television, which gave its hue illuminating the living room.
