" Mom, Daddy says you should hurry up, he cannot wait to see you." A cute-looking Adrien smiled proudly at me. " You look beautiful." He said.

I hugged him, "Thank you. You also look dapper."

" I guess that means I look handsome too." He said as his brows creased in confusion.

"Yes. You are so smart. Tell your dad I'll be down in a minute." I replied with a prouder smile. Adrien was growing so well. He was smart and resourceful and everything I hoped for.

Then he fished into his breast pocket, and brought out a gold necklace, " Dad told me to give you this." He said while handing it over to me.

My eyes were misted with tears when I saw the inscription on the locket. " You are my forever, no one can separate us."

" Why are you crying, Mom? Are you sad?" Adrien asked in a concerned tone.

"These are happy tears." I shook my head, he must have confused my happiness for sadness.
