Zeta's pov

I jolted awake in bed, my heart pounding as an unexpected knock echoed through the stillness of the room. I forced myself to sleep after the incident and now the sudden interruption only heightened my anxiety. I cautiously approached the front door, my mind racing with various possibilities. Another knock resonated, louder this time, and I recognized the distinct rhythm. Relief washed over me as I realized it was Jen on the other side.

"Ma'am are you awake?" Jen called out.

Unlocking the door, I swung it open, revealing her concerned face. Her eyes widened as she took in my disheveled appearance, evidence of a sleepless night.

"Jen I..." I couldn't even speak I was speechless about what I went through the accident why were all these things happening.
